Seeking Recommendations (foreign music)
Okay, so whilst I generally don't understand a word that's being said, the tunes are quite lively, upbeat, and feel-good. I'm looking to compile as big a playlist as I can, just so I can listen (and not understand) them.
![]() I believe they're all Spanish or Mexican artists, maybe? Examples though would be the following: Chino & Nacho - Me Voy Enamorando (Remix) ft. Farruko Daddy Yankee - Limbo Daddy Yankee - La Noche De Los Dos ft. Natalia Jiménez Don Omar - Zumba Don Omar - Danza Kuduro ft. Lucenzo Video Oficial Con Letra Enrique Iglesias - Bailando (Español) ft. Descemer Bueno, Gente De Zona Gente De Zona - La Gozadera (Official Video) ft. Marc Anthony Wisin - Adrenalina ft. Jennifer Lopez, Ricky Martin Wisin - Que Viva la Vida Wisin & Yandel - Algo Me Gusta De Ti ft. Chris Brown, T-Pain |

These guys are not the same style as your examples above, but they have fantastic voices individually, and together they are just incredible. They are Norwegian but also sing in English: Espen Lind, Kurt Nilsen, Askil Holm and Alejandro Fuentes.
With or Without You https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rYw9E0bW9RE Woman in Chains: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uHKStrvvUtQ They do more upbeat stuff as well, but those two are my favourites. |

Hmm.....I listen to a lot of European Metal bands who sing in their own language but having seen your examples, I don't think that's what you're looking for.

I listen to songs in another language if I like them, irrelevant whether I understand them or not. I believe it's important to celebrate music across the globe. We get very fixed on our own music sometimes.
I'm loving La Femme currently, but have always liked artists such as Einstürzende Neubauten, etc. |

I enjoy a big dose of French pop once in a while....my current favourite French chanteuse is Shy'm and worth checking out her material, especially Et Alors!

I'm wondering how you can include Daddy Yankee and not include his biggest hit:
![]() Daddy Yankee - Gasolina Anyways, here are some of the more offbeat hispanic bands that I like: (I live an hour away from mexico, so I've heard a lot of this on the radio) Plastilina Mosh - Castigame A Band of Bitches - Noreste Caliente (rumored to be members of Plastilina Mosh) Los Amigos Invisibles - Mentiras Manu Chao - Me gustas tu (sings in French and Spanish) Ana Tijoux - 1977 (fans of Breaking Bad will know this one) |

This album is hard to find. It is the astonishing 1955 recording of the Ensemble Of The Bulgarian Republic. Graham Nash is obsessed with this recording and has said that the multi part harmonies were the inspiration for the first Crosby Stills & Nash album. I think Amazon have it as a Download.

Alan Stivell (Breton, sings in French, Breton and English amongst other languages) - 'Pop Pinn' (this piece is an instrumental but it is my favourite).
https://youtu.be/2FU0KGdCViQ Sigur Ros - 'Glosoli' - popular enough and in a variation of Icelandic... https://youtu.be/Bz8iEJeh26E Clannad - 'Harry's Game Theme' - in Irish https://youtu.be/sUiu-JztpKE PFM - 'Dolcissima Maria' - Italian prog rock from the 70s https://youtu.be/VubK9cYdvpE?list=PL...eJwZVPDIbOgBW6 Kraftwerk - 'Die Roboter' - in the original German. https://youtu.be/SQrb85O3HQA |
