Is Katie worth a bet at 25/1 to win ?

That is the question.

I wouldn't....even were I a gambling man.

But,then again,my inability to spot winners or gauge public taste are reasons for why I am not a gambling man,so maybe I should say "maybe."

OP

Its best to gamble only what you can afford to lose.
I doubt Katie will win though.

If you wait she'll probably drift further out as soon as she starts dancing...

If Strictly runs for 25 years, is there going to be a winner as unlikely as Katie? Maybe.

It's maybe worth a shout. I say this as someone who has backed 5 winners out of betting on 9 series, including Chris Hollins at 16/1.

That's a good record Jay.

I have to say I doubt it, but might stick a fiver on anyway. I can't see many of Anita's votes going their way after all the nonsense.

Remember betting odds are driven by two things - who they think likely to win and where other punters' money has been going. 25:1 in a four horse race means both that they think she won't win and so does most of the money.

That said, I've heard it said the Final gets a very different audience and voting audience, that a lot of people voting either haven't watched earlier shows or haven't voted on them if they have. And Anton's "story" is an easy one to sell to a new audience..

What are the odds on Katie/Anton getting a 10 tonight?

It's worth a pound or two.

Don't think there'll be many gullible people daft enough believe what the tabloids are spewing out at the moment and be swayed not to vote for Katie and Anton based on that biased muck. The majority will judge on the dancing on the night, and they might just do great dances.

I have had a punt on Kellie @12/1 which i see as a value bet.

Think I might put my fiver on. After all there is no judges leader board position to overcome.

I think she;ll finish runner up along with Georgia.

Kellie will be out first and to be honest I can't see anyone other than Jay winning.
