Why no mention of the tour yet?

It is still happening, isn't it? I'm sure thy used to talk about it on ITT in the past, but there's been absolutely no mention of it all anywhere. Didn't there used to be an active thread on here about it?

I used to go to the tour every year and it was a big thing then.

Zoe mentioned the tour when Mel Giedroyc was on It Takes Two as she's presenting the tour next year, which is making me want to buy tickets for the first time!!

You should. It's very good live. I used to go to Dancing on Ice as well, I really miss that programme

They can't " advertise" it too much, as it makes money. I am sure Frankie Bridge will plug it tonight on the lottery I between SCD Parts 1/2.

The Tour is produced and run by West End managements, not the BBC.

The BBC only gets a fee for them using the Strictly name.

As the Tour is a commercial enterprise it could only be mentioned in passing. Will be astounded if it is 'plugged'.

It's not the X-Factor where Simon Cowell is involved with everything.

The shows in London are so expensive. Beyond the reach of many.

Suppose the West End managements who organise the Tour charge West End prices - and people will pay as most places are almost sold out.

In the regions prices aren't too bad - but only for seats high up

I agree there hasn't been as much mention as normally. Normally the adverts for it start appearing in the papers about 4 weeks or so before the final, I haven't seen one yet.

I think they're more or less sold out, the London ones are anyway

I'm sure there sued to be more dates as well. They only have two days in Manchester and one in Liverpool, but loads in random places like a sheffield and Leeds. What is that all about?

Because people live in Sheffield and Leeds. And they've been going there for the past few years.

Thanks... I know all of that...still as I posted advertising unless under the rules of a guest.

Fred I might refer you to my original post again!

Anyway I bet the dancers will be on The One show on its return in 2016.

Because there is a large population in West and South Yorkshire.

Leeds is at the heart of the West Yorkshire urban area, which includes neighbouring Bradford and Huddersfield, Halifax, Wakefield, Keighley, Castleford and Pontefract with a total population of 1.7 million.

Sheffield is home to just over half a million people with its Metropolitian area (which will include neighbouring Rotherham) home to 1.5 million. Derbyshire also borders South Yorkshire I know too, so you also have their population too.
