I'll be voting my heart out for her. I hope she performs her very best tonight!

Yes, good luck to her. I'm hoping that she and Giovanni really deliver tonight.

I'm really intrigued what magic they're going to manufacture from their choice of showdance tune!! Even by Coldplay's standards it is not the world's most interesting song but I do have confidence these two will turn it into a breathtakingly beautiful dance routine, full of grace &passion!!
Go Georgia & Giovanni, my favourites since day one!!

Pop back to your Jay and his partners appreciation thread unless you have something sensible to say.

The one who got to the final because of her talent rather than because she has a pretty face (although, granted, she does have that, too - but no penis, so it doesn't count).

Good Luck to all of them. She's not been my stand out contestant this year, either on or off the dance floor, but she has performed some nice dances.

As a fan of Jay and Georgia I agree with you.

Even though I do think it is very likely that Jay will win, Georgia may just snatch the glitterball from him. Perhaps doing her charleston and showcase could be enough for her. On a show like this, you never know what is going to happen. Who ever thought that after doing her beautiful and magical quickstep, she would find herself in the quarter final dance-off?

I was just reading an article on this very website, where Jay did think that Georgia deserves to have a career in the West End following seeing her superb charleston to "Hot Mama Rug" from Chicago. To be honest, I wouldn't mind a shock win.

Unfortunely for me, I won't be able to see the live final tonight, because I have got to go for a Christmas party. I have voted a number of times though throughout the series.

There's so much about Georgia that makes her a winner this year:

-Her exquisite dancing
-Her excellent technique
-Her stunning movements
-Her fantastic chemistry with Giovanni
-Her superb and lyrical storytelling
-Her brilliance in ballroom
-Her emotional commitment to every performance

I could go on but let's just say she would be a deserved winner and in my eyes has won this year regardless of what the public say

Yes, yes, yes!
Her and Giovanni are such a wonderful partnership but above all they are two genuinely lovely people.

True. But for so many G&G fans its what she has achieved and how much we have enjoyed and appreciated it that is more important. I don't want to appear negative, but many knew Jay was going to win it weeks ago and have accepted it. I think for tonight we will be more emotional about seeing what they've achieved rather than being excited about the win. For me anyway, they've achieved much more than a glitterball...I only want them to get through to perform the charleston and then just enjoy the performance.

Good luck to Georgia for a fabulous final. I hope all of her dances are as exciting or as moving as she wants them to be. Shoulders down, spins spotted, heel leads where needed, hips where wanted... I know it means someone else will have to miss out but I really want her to end her Strictly with her favourite 'Char-les-ton'.

C'mon Craig, where's your ten paddle?

(Really, good luck to all the finalists! I hope whoever wins really wins on the night with great routines and flair!!)

Yes! Come on GG. I'm sure they will deliver something very special this evening and hopefully make the last three. Anything more would be a dream but just hope they and the other finalists all do themselves proud.

Yes, good luck. I'd hate to see NINE MONTHS of pre-series training go to waste

Plus she's drop dead gorgeous!!! I totally fancy her pants off, AND Giovani, and I'm celebate! (and about to celebrate, when she WINS, which she will, oh yes. Next stop: West End. Bring it on! Oops, why am I still in brackets?)

That's better.

We want 3 pretty females in a row to win this series, please!

Jay MUST be gay - just look closely at his name: J A Y (g a y). Totes obvs, init like?

Katie Derham is too... thingy to win.

As for Kellie... you what! Tell me about it.

Best of luck, Georgia April Foote. I will FIX YOU anytime!!!

Why put Jay down on a thread about Georgia?

BIB that's something I never can see when I watch these two. To me it's always like a dad dancing with his daughter, just as Kevin and Kellie always look like a brother and sister having fun.

my only caution would be, if you don't allow all opinions, the mods will stick you in the attic, or merge you with the existing appreciation thread

The problem is, in the original post that generated mine and mac's replies, the person took the time to come to a thread wishing good luck to Georgia (I know it may come as a shock to some people but not everything in this competition is about Jay) and insult her.

I wouldn't go to a specific thread wishing good luck to Jay and insult him. Manners and all that, you know...

And if the mods want to merge this thread with the appreciation thread, well, it's up to them.
