I'd argue that Harry was a totally mediocre dancer from weeks 1 to about 5 at least (that Foxtrot was not good) but his fanbase probably offset that. I'd like to see her with a middler too, I can't really blame her for not being able to do all that much with Tony or Gregg

There was nothing to suggest Harry would be better than Simon Webbe or even Nick Byrne. Aliona took Harry to victory. Hopefully she can repeat that with Jay.

I think his Latin was still very mediocre at the end. He was destined to win because he was bland, pretty and had an established base of fans.

Oh, I definitely agree about the Latin. We could probably debate this for ever but I don't think his win was quite as cut and dry as say, Louis Smith's. If Aliona hadn't have gotten that Quickstep and Viennese Waltz out of him I think Chelsee may very well have pipped him, but again, it's all hypothetical

I just think Aliona's a better teacher than she's sometimes given credit for.

I still think Chelsee would have won had her her nerves not got the better of her in the final.
