I admire how adamant you are to be disingenuous, but anyone with eyes can see the difference between saying "Anita didn't actually do a salsa" and "who would want to?".

Anyway, I digress. The fact is, I believe Anita would have provided much higher quality final dances than Katie...you don't, and that's fine. However, it's a bit of a silly place to voice your opinion about it, and it would no doubt be more welcome in the NAT. Do enjoy

I thought Katie should have gone two weeks ago instead of Helen, and then Anita should have gone Last week. Helen deserved to be in that final. Katie did not.

Katie was is the final. Anita was not . It's a fact. No going back. It just is. Can we get over it now?

Katie was just dire. I've come to my senses now - the woman can't dance! It was all a facade from Week 1: Anton's year in the final! I watched that Jive back and it was just awful, and yet was awarded 26 points!

Anita most definitely deserved a place in the final.

I agree that Anita should have been in the final, but I think she was most unlucky to have a moderate dance (for her) in the dance off against one which Katie improved greatly from her first attempt. But that was last week's news.

I would have loved her to have been in the final 4.

She never would have won but my goodness her showdance would have been spectacular.

Anita was a loss last week. She was more than capable of doing a Salsa - as early as week 1/4 her party Latin was in great shape. She had good rhythm, her isolations were fab and she holds her shape as well as any gymnast in the air. Her ability to learn complex choreography had massively improved - if she picked up everything Gleb threw at that salsa in half a week, a regular salsa would have been easy to master. Kellie and Kevin's semi-arthritic salsa got 8,8,9,9 - that score could have been easily matched.

If they'd gotten even a semi- workable song last week, she would've been here tonight. Gleb shouldn't have put in all the acrobatics but I don't know what he would've put in its place. That music didn't have the 123,567 salsa rhythm, the tempo was entirely wrong. I've danced for a while and don't know how I'd extract anything vaguely resembling a salsa out of that.

Up until Blackpool, they'd gotten great music. Gleb always choreographed something pretty 'out there' but it was always the dance they were asked to do, and she always delivered the goods. A real shame that the week of the semis they got one of the crappest song choices of the entire series.

If they hadn't been put in a hole by that music choice/if Gleb had tried harder to scramble out of it, she'd have made that Final. C'est la vie.

The first half of last night's final was a bit of a snoozefest. Anita over Katie as a finalist would certainly have livened it up a bit.

Anita was outdanced in her dance off against Katie so she was not robbed of a place in the final. She just wasn't good enough on the night.

In terms of having a more level playing field in terms of ability - there was clearly a gap between Katie's ability and the others - Helen would have made a better show of things.
