Let's just be a little bit gracious and grateful - he's in the final (so far!) and it's his first time there, so give him a break and let him have his 90 seconds of fame.

The irony is that week after week Katie has got a bit better, but Tony has got a lot worse.
The younger male pros certainly show up all his failings.
On previous series he has always had the comedy celebrity and that helped him, but when he has to do it properly, the cracks are evident.

That was the impression I got as well, it's the final - it's not as though the criticism can be used constructively now and, a bit like with Aliona and the showdance, they were being a bit tough on them when they don't really need to anymore. They don't need to pretend everything is great but nor do they need to be particularly harsh.

Agree! He overstepped it by talking over Craig. A few come backs are fine, but that was downright rude. Even Katie realised this and told him to shut up. Enough is enough.

Craig was actually tying to say some lovely things about Katie - I think he does have a soft spot for her, and Anton just sounded a bit desperate

I just feel uncomfortable when pro's answer back in the way Anton did after the show dance. Reminds me other other such occasions when pro's appeared to forgot where they were. Good on Katie for showing such good grace.

I have to disagree. Tonight, he was hilarious. His attempt to dance, that show dance routine...

I have nothing but awe that he has managed to steal a paycheck for so long despite:
-Being a sub-par dancer
-Being a sub-par choreographer
-Throwing his partner to the wolves every season
-Making Tess seem funny
-Making previous sackable remarks to a partner

So many bad Anton moments tonight, he looked knackered now that he has reached the final I think it's time for him to leave, he is very popular they need to find him another role on the show other than a pro.

It's part of what I like about Anton, he takes the criticism with good humour - but his critics are blind to that.

This is it, actually, but his critics will jump on the tiniest thing in order to give him a good kicking. :-/
