1) For the first time I enjoyed ALL of the showdances due to none of them being a acrobatic liftathon.
2) Seems wrong that the obvious winner hasn't had the best night especially with Kellie getting perfect marks...
3) ... Unless of course the biggest shock of the series occurs and Kellie wins which I would prefer - have voted.
4) Katie just gets too nervous and whilst I am happy they have got to the final it is a shame she wasn't at a ability level to get a 10.
5) The last three months have sped by and I have thoroughly enjoyed this series - good mix of contenstants.

5 more thoughts to follow after the final.

Thanks to all those who have contributed to these threads and made them a success for another year.

1/ Two beautiful performances from Team GG. They get my votes tonight.
2/ I personally liked Jay's show dance a lot (and I'm not a Jay fan). For me it worked.
3/ Kelly hit it out the park with those two dances.
4/ Katie's routines only highlighted how much I wish Anita had been there in her place I'm afraid.
5/ Lovely to see all the celebs and pros back together

1. Aliona and Jay should have done something conteporary and barefoot and artsy for show dance. But theirs still showed good skill and technique

2. I didn't like Kellies tango the firts time and still didnt like it this time.....But that was a fab showdance from KK

3. However i think its a cop-out for them to redo their charleston

4. GG are just so divine. Love the partnership, hope she gets to perform her charleston!

5. Want to say something nice about Katie but it was like she was Antons prop.

1. Aliona and Jay were too safe tonight should have done a Jive based show dance

2. Kellie's two dances both over marked, too high a posture in the Tango and into and out of lift transitions in their show dance were awful

3. Katie is the proverbial 'rabbit in the headlights'

4. Team GG just ahead of KK for me

5. It has all been a bit meh, maybe an Anita/Gleb or Helen/Alijaz showdance would have perked things up

2. Tess's dress .. aaarrgghh, horrific, worst she's ever worn!
3. Jay - superbly executed but dull showdance - so disappointed
4. Kellie deserved her marks, she never goes wrong and can bring the enthusiasm and character every time - but is she popular with the public?
5. I'd like Georgia to win, but I like all of them.

1) Jay has already won this.

2) I thought Kellie and Kevin deserved those two 40s. They won't win, but at least they can be proud of what they accomplished.

3) I liked Georgia and Giovanni's showdance. I mused giving them my third vote, but decided not to because of the crying in the VT.

4) I thought Jay's showdance was underwhelming. The start was strong, if a little cheesy, but they could have done so much better. He's still going to walk this, though.

5) I thought Katie looked stunning in her show dance costume. She has an almost Grecian look to her, so it was the perfect style for her.

1. I hate judges picks. Viewers choice next year please
2. That tango was never a 40
3. I liked Jay's showdance a lot upon rewatching. The thing is, with SCD, it needs to hit you on first impact
4. Wardrobe have done so right by Katie
5. I can't believe this series is almost over.

1. Kellie overmarked not deserving of those scores
2. Jay and Aliona didn't rely on a simple dance in the show dance they combined many which is tougher
3. Judges are quite good actors
4. Katie and Anton don't deserve to be in the final
5. Just imagine the show dance from Anita and Gleb

I was really only left with the one thought.

1) That was a totally unnecessary, cruel and mean spirited way to ruin the final for Jay. I liked his dance but sure - maybe the judges didn't. But the tone of the barrage of criticism was so uncalled for and it left a really nasty impression imo.

1. I liked Jay's showdance and felt sorry for Aliona and I'm no fan of hers as a rule.
2. I enjoyed Georgia's rumba.
3. Kellie has worked incredibly hard.
4. Katie simply isn't up to it. She knows it and was gracious about the criticism.
5. Shut up Anton. You showed yourself up.

Thanks for this thread, it's my favourite one each year!

1) I was surprised that Katie was given a ballroom for the Judges choice, it would have been nice to see her try to improve one of her weaker Latin dances.

2) Kellie really does have the momentum, I'm not a massive fan of her tango, but she did dance it beautifully. Their showdance was fantastic and I felt that it deserved full marks.

3) great to see them all back again, I'm really looking forward to the group dance.

4) I really really wanted Jay to smash the final. He would never have suited a showdance like KK's but he is so much better than that.

5) Katie is by far the weakest, lovely lady, but hopefully she will make a graceful exit at start of the next show.

1) An underwhelming night so far.

2) Kellie and Georgia are the best tonight so far.

3) Jay and Aliona were very unlucky to get the quickstep picked by the judges and he didn't dance it well.

4) Jay's Showdance, good but could have been a bit better, wasn't as bad as the judges were making it out to be.

5) Katie was dreadful tonight, Helen should have been in the final instead of her.

My overriding thought is Goodman's disgusting attitude problem. He can't take one single bit of criticism, snaps at the audience, looks as grumpy as f*** the whole time.

1. I 'got' Jay & Aliona's showdance and really did enjoy it!

2. Anton made me laugh a lot tonight. I thought the judges were very mean to Katie though.

3. Wish they'd scrap Judges Choice - some crappy routines performed again, sometimes less crap, doesn't really make for a spectacular final!

4. I never liked Georgia's rumba, hope she gets to do her charleston again as that is a better representative of her time on the show IMO.

5. I like Kellie, she's a brilliant dancer but the overhyping of her this week has been ridiculous - those 2 dances were never the best of the series!

1 / The fact that Katie was pants makes the decision to take Anita and/or Helen out seem ridiculous. Would've preferred Anita but Helen would also be great. Just not Katie.

2 / Kellie was fantastic. She deserves to win.

3 / She won't, because the Jay brigade will vote for him even if he turns up and does absolute rubbish for a minute and a half.

4 / Georgia was great.

5 / I've got very strong Caroline vibes from Kellie from the very beginning. Tonight proved that even more.

1. Found Jay's showdance underwhelming. Very cleverly put together, showcasing all the different disciplines, but no wow factor.

2. Kellie and Kevin showdance was the only one that I found impressive, even though I found the perfect 40 scores for their two dances to be ott.

3. Len seriously needs to go away, being so grumpy on the final night is not appreciated.

4. For the first time this series, I have not voted - really dont mind which of the 3 wins ( I am working on the basis that Katie will be out ).

1. I'm curious - would it have killed the judges to give Katie and Anton a few extra marks? Seriously! Their comments were far too harsh and Katie accepted them with good grace. Voted for them and them alone because of that. And I want to see their VW again.
2. I feel like K&K only got 40s for the sake of giving 40s. I didn't like the Tango and
although their showdance was the best, it wasn't a 40 imo.
3. I feel as if Georgia's slipped under the radar a little tonight. Thought she was superb in both dances and hope she gets through to do THAT Charleston again.
4. I really don't want Jay to go first but out of all the couples' choice dances I'm most looking forward to, I'm looking forward to his the least. Wasn't too keen on the Paso first time round - think they should've done the Jive & think they'll regret not doing it now.
5. Give me that group dance. Looking forward to seeing Ainsley, Kirsty, Jeremy, Anita and Helen again!

1. Whilst Jay and Aliona's showdance may have lacked the wow factor it was beautifully executed.
2. Still can't get the judges love for Kellie, her arms are most ungainly. Their showdance was full on and entertaining if a bit ungainly for my taste.
3 GG were elegant, particularly liked their rumba
4 Both Anton and Katie out of their depth.
5 We can only imagine Anita's showdance - what a shame we were denied it.

1. Judges choice: bad concept (not keen on seeing bad dances again), and bad choices (2xQS, tango and rhumba). Judges: Think before you choose!

2. Actually quite liked GGs rhumba from the judges choice round (despite my lack of love for the dance style). Others too forgettable.

3. K&As set was great. Pity about the dancing, although I think overall I enjoyed it most of the showdances (not necessarily for the right reasons).

4. Anton needs a gag.

5. Wasn't too keen on showdances overall. JA needed more jive, GG - uhm, sorry forgotten, KK frantic and too rough, KA needed better dancing.

1. Claudia needs a bra.
2. Aliona = the Erin of the modern era? How to turn a dead cert into a nail-biter.
3. Anton has never looked less attractive - a sweaty mess who nearly dropped his partner and can't shut up.
4. Kellie - 40s - really judges??
5. GG are charming, sweet and she can really dance. Georgia is now the star of SDC 2015 for me.

Hear hear, I have had quite enough of the grumpy old sod.

1. Too many Charlestons/Lindyhops dances for the final.
2. Wrong finalists.
3. Too much favouritism this series.
4. A beautiful show dance from Jay & Aliona.
5. Bring back Anita & Gleb.
