1) This could have been a really magical Final with the right finalists. Missed Anita and Helen. As it was, some good moments but overall a bit flat and entirely predictable.

2) Gleb and Anita's absence was noticeable tonight. None of the pros seemed to have got the memo about what a showdance is. Doesn't have to be flashy/ packed with lifts (which I hate) but they throw away the rulebook for a reason. So you can do something innovative, new and take a bit of a bleeding risk. You can demonstrate the skills you've acquired without just doing a half-arsed mash up of all your former dances. Didn't especially like KK's but at least it went halfway towards fulfilling the brief. Likewise not redoing the jive was a big mistake. A bit of fearlessness works wonders.

3) Katie was embarrassing tonight. She was miles behind the others throughout the competition and stuck out like a sore thumb tonight. It would've been kinder to let her go last week.

4) Strange to think Peter, Jamelia, Kirsty and Carol were ever a part of the show. Was great seeing everyone back together.

5) Aliona was lovely at the end.

After that I just wasn't interested in the judges at all, totally inappropriate and unnecessary. Don't really know why we needed them at all there scores were pointless

1. No one really impressed
2. Katie & Anton should not have been in the final
3. None of the showdances really WOWED me in any way shape or form
4. Kevin & Kellie lindy hop looked like a charlston
5. Imagine what Gleb & Anita`s showdance would have been ?

1. Felt for Kellie. She danced a storm and don't think the judges' comments helped her one bit. She was too pushed. Not her fault at all, as all she can do is exactly what she did - dance her darndest and enjoy it. Great showdance.

2. Georgia seems a sweet girl and loved her partnership with Giovanni. Not sure about the showdance, but her charleston was superb.

3. Katie is class incarnate, but it felt from the outset that she was overwhelmed by the final. Not helped by some unpleasant comments from the judges. Uncalled for, I thought.

4. I'm happy enough that Jay won, and appreciated the technique of the showdance - but, like so many of Jay's dances, it improved on second viewing. Not an immediate knockout, which I think a showdance needs to be.

5. Judges need to be positive on Finals night. Can we put Len back on whatever it was he was taking after his knee op?

Sneaky 6. Group dance was all kinds of wonderful. Why in the world couldn't Jamelia have done that during the show?

1. Jay only had to turn up to win

2. Kevin and Kellie and Georgia and Giovanni were the best dancers on the night.

3. Poor Katie - the gap between her ability and the others was like an unbridgeable chasm.

4. The couples' choice dance section was easily the best part of the show with the group dances a close second - surprisingly well done given what we have had to put up with all season.

5. Jay and Aliona were gracious in victory and I'm particularly pleased that Aliona is, thus far, the only pro to win the glitter ball twice.

1. Kellie should have won as she danced best on the night
2. Kevin must be livid, 3 finals and no glitterball
3. Enjoyed all the dances
4..Really good final.......shame about the winner ...Georgia best over the series and Kellie best in the Final
5. Never underestimate the power of middle aged women voters

1. The Judges' pick choices were unexpected for every finalist - truly did not see any of them coming
2. None of the showdances had the 'Wow' factor that puts the 'show' in showdance
3. Jay's in particular was completely underwhelming - I was actually bored watching
4. Katie's place in the final was extremely lucky for her as her standard of dancing was far below any of the others
5. Georgia & Giovanni's Charleston was the dance of the night (and the only deserving 40 in my opinion)

1a. Show better structured than I remember finals being (intro and group dances neat, less in the way of VTs).

2a. Perhaps Jay actually pulled off a masterstroke by leaving out the Jive; everyone else was competing with the memory of it. Not sure how seriously he took the competition in the end, showdance wasn't really for the audience, and grinning in the paso.

3a. Felt a bit sorry for Katie in the end, judges were unnecessarily rude. Even pros would have looked a bit lost in that showdance set too.

4a. Liked GG on the night. Rhumba had me in the first part, and did the better charleston in the second. The lack of sync at the end spoiled it a bit for me.

5a. KK - an error picking charleston at the end? Clear divide between theirs and GGs.

1 I was stupidly pleased to see Helen and Jeremy again...what delightful people they are.

2 That paso was the stand out dance of the night for me, loved the ending when they couldn't help but show their utter joy in the dance. And that is why:

3 Jay and Aliona were such worthy winners.

4 Kellie was good...but didn't deserve those 40s for their first two dances. I always feel as though this is just another job for her, any enthusiasm feels faked....

5 Unlike Georgia who seems to have loved the whole experience. Shame her first two dances were so bland, by the time she did her Charleston it was too late for her to gain the ground she needed.

1: Katie was clearly out of her depth in the final.

2: Jay's Showdance was boring and underwhelming with no WOW factor.

3: Georgia and Kellie out danced Jay through out the show.

4: Jay winning was a forgone conclusion, which spoiled the whole series for me.

5: I'm glad this series is now over, roll on Strictly 2016, hopefully with a shake up of the Judges Panel.

1. I loved the introductory dance, with cameos by the celebs, pros, judges (Craig ironing Glebs shirt-ha) and backstage staff and the finalists descending from the ceiling.

2.Jay won it before he turned up. Which made it slightly less exciting to watch, but yeah not a lot producers can do about that. Disliked his outfit in the showdance. Pockets again!

3.The Jive; I would have liked to have seen it again, if only because Jay didn't have a wow moment in the final. I was fully expecting the showdance to finish on a high note with a jive. Think he and Aliona were bit precious about not including it TBH.

4. Kellie danced her socks off. Not the most elegant of dancers and overscored but she really does entertain.

5. The final group dance. Loved Gleb and Anita, Jeremy and wow Jamelia was excellent. Carol walking around smiling and Kirsty struggling to get the spaghetti out of her mouth summed up their dancing and awkward partnerships with Pasha/Brendan.

Bonus 6. Katie was incredibly gracious (take note Anton) and I'm glad Georgia got the recognition she deserves.

1) Georgia's reaction to thst comment from Craig made the whole series for me, such a lovely, natural, charming contestant
2) Giovanni's choreography & Georgia's performance in the opening section of the showdance, BRILLIANT!!
3) Sadly underwhelmed by Jay's showdance, but not unhappy with him winning as he has done some really good stuff this series & is such a natural dancer!!
4) Well done Kellie on giving her absolute all & getting her reward with the judges' scores & comments!!
5) Such a graceful acceptance of fourth place from Katie, did her credit!!

1) Glad Len apologised to Giovanni for his previous attitude and remarks about their rumba which I enjoyed both times around and loved their showdance and seeing the Char-less-ton again.
2) Kellie's hair in her tango just looked like a baby girl's and was quite distracting just like the funny faces she pulls when dancing - like catching flies
3) Jay danced within himself all night but was unlikely to loose - enjoyed his Paso but in terms of dancing on the night he was beaten by Georgia and Kellie
4) Katie (HotSwan) was such a gracious lady (take note Anton on how to accept defeat with grace and elegance) - but quite clearly out of her depth with the final
5) Nice to see the rest of the contestants back especially Jeremy/Ainsley/Helen and Anita

1. I loved Jay's classy showdance
2. The judges were not impartial enough.
3. Jay's paso was the dance of the night for me
4. Didn't like any of Kellie's frantic dances
5. However the whole series has been excellent

1. Strictly over for 2015 (So glad I have tickets for the tour )

2. Weird judges comments Weird scoring too

3. Loved the show dances from Jay, Kellie and Georgia. Each one showed their different strengths. Well done Aliona, Kevin and Giovanni

4. Katie was out of her depth but so gracious and elegant.

5. Well Done Jay and Aliona. Worthy winners. Gave us some wonderful memorable routines

1. Felt very sorry for Katie who did not belong in the final (would have loved Helen to be there). However, she accepted her fourth place with tremendous grace and dignity unlike Anton who looked rather cross. Time Anton retired!

2. Georgia was the star of the night for me. Sexy rumba, innovative show dance and of course that Charleston which gave them their well deserved 40 moment.

3. Kellie was never going to win but her dancing on the night saved her from coming 4th. I thought she was over marked in her tango and her showdance although certainly very showy didn't blow me away like I thought it would. Kevin must have been spitting feathers that his master plan to bring out his Star Wars charleston as a favourite dance on the week of the new films release, was scuppered by having to follow GGs Chicago Charleston which was much better.

4. Jay was underwhelming on the night and although I don't really mind him winning since he has done some great dances over the series it's still a bit disappointing when the result seems so predetermined.

5. Enjoyed the show on the whole last night although it did drag a bit in places - it was great to see the other contestants back and their group dance was quite clever.

Georgia wuz robbed Georgia wowed me from start to finish

Didn't warm to Kellie throughout the series but her final dances were great.

Jay's a good dancer but was frustrated at his lack of emotion.

Katie has looked stunning every week - such lovely dresses - congrats on getting Anton to the final!

Missed Anton's duffers, they were so entertaining, but Jeremy was great fun.

naughty 6 but had to say how much I liked Tess's white trouser suit.

1) thought kellie was over marked, and her charleston should not have got 10's after Georgia's!
2) thought jay and Georgia were under marked in the first half and deserved at least one 10!
3) Craig's comment to Georgia and her reaction was my personal highlight of the night and it didn't matter that she didn't win after that 😀
4) I loved all of the show dances 😳 all very different and found them all enjoyable!
5) I'm sad that it's all over!

Cheeky 6) many congratulation to jay and Aliona! Not the best on the night unfortunately but he's produced some amazing routines and has blossomed in confidence throughout

One way the result could have gone differently would have been if the other contestants' supporters had voted more and Jay's less! So not completely predetermined.

Katie was as gracious in defeat as she has been all series - but it was the right result - the gap between her and the other 3 was enormous

Jay - deserved to win, but on the night I thought he was a bit underwhelming - no real Wow moment from him

Georgia - is probably the contestant who has grown on me most this series - her tears when Craig made his comment about putting her on the stage were lovely

Kellie - whatever you think of her, you have to admire her work ethic. She smashed all 3 of her dances (although I'd question the wisdom of doing the Charleston again unless they didn't know Georgia was also doing hers)

Can't believe it's all over already - seems no time at all since they were announcing the celebs back in August

Kellie was seriously overmarked. Her tango was worthy of 8s not 10s.

I LOVED Jays showdance.

Jays pasa was worthy of a 40. Craig hated Jay.

Georgia has been overlooked in all the 'Kellie was robbed' palava. Georgia was better than Kellie.

Jamelia was FANTASTIC in her segment in the dance with all the celebs. I Tristan a little too much..

1. Georgia was way better than Kellie, who looked a bit ragged, especially in the show dance.

2. The judges' over-praising of Kellie and harshness to Jay and especially Katie will leave me perplexed for a long time.

3. I thought Katie looked pretty good in her dances - better than Kellie, if you ask me. Maybe not as technically correct but more graceful and pleasing to watch. I didn't see the mistakes they were talking about.

4. I felt awful for Anton and so wished he'd have been runnerup. I can't help thinking the judges ruined it for him - or were their harsh comments an attempt to get people to call

5. I just found out Oti was married, which I didn't know before. Two hours ago she tweeted: "What happens when I finally see my husband... Just want to be in his arms and dance just a little..."

1. The returning celeb dance was my favourite part of the night, it really was a great year.
2. It was a really uninspiring set of dances for Jay...the fact that he won at quarter speed and leaving all his best work in the locker says a lot. A very worthy winner.
3. Replace showdance a with a viewer's choice, please! It's a travesty that the dance if the series wasn't in the final.
4. Kellie & Kevin were brilliant and deservedly led the leaderboard in the final. Thought their Charleston was just ok though, especially seeing it just after Georgia's.
5. it was great getting a red button segment after the final - brilliant to see interviews with all the finalists.

Sneaky 6. Gleb grinning away in the Clauditorium was lovely. I know his good looks run people up the wrong way, but I think it's pretty clear he doesn't take himself that seriously and seems to fit in just fine.

All in all, I'm missing the show already. Roll on September 2016.

I spotted Karen and Joanne right at the front - both looking less than thrilled at the winner.
Not really surprising I suppose but having them front and centre like that was probably a mistake given that they aren't exactly impartial.
