Will we remember Jay's showdance as another puppetgate?

The main puppetry was him dangling in upside down on strings .
Dull routine from a meh dancer really .

Totally agree, thoroughly loved seeing elements of all of his previous dances which I thought were fabulous the first time round and how Aliona managed to blend them all into a really gorgeous routine.

Also agree with this, the number of people who will change their minds based on the showdance are probably minuscule.

You weren't watching well enough then as the final section was the ending of his Jive.

And, once again, we're in agreement. The earliest series' had showdances which showcased how much the celebrities had learned, then they had a spate of ridiculous lift inspired "chuck 'em about" showdances and we've had a mix of both types since then.

I like seeing what the celebrities have learned brought into a new routine.

Yes I was watching, clearly you was not reading my post.

There was not one jive step from Jay in it, he smoothed his hair and caught Aliona, which was from the jive, however there was not one step performed by Jay in it that was jive and that was the great shame as if it was down memory lane, the dance he could do technically the best was the jive.
