Cant believe what I read after that showdance that was the only thing that could have saved it for them, she's tried to be too smart and failed miserably.. Kellie to win

He'd still win even if he sat on the floor and read a book for the entire dance. Those of us with puzzled wtf faces are apparently dance philistines who only enjoy a routine if it has jazz hands and gurning.

Not Brendan?

If they really wanted to win, a decision that makes no sense at all.

He has probably managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory already.

God that showdance was terrible. Poor Jay

Jay will win. Some people will still be voting for him to do the jive, because they don't know that he isn't doing it.

God knows why he is not doing the jive! I've voted for him but I think he's lost his chance 😢

He should have done the jive for his showdance!

The jive was more a show dance than his show dance!!!

His show dance was actually danced very, very well. That is wasn't show dancey enough I get perhaps but it was also rather lovely. The judges have been very negative with him tonight despite awarding high enough marks, whereas they have been very positive with Georgia and marked her the same.

Kellie put on a great show dance, that said, I am not a Lindy Hop fan so it didn't do it for me despite seeing she did well.

The vast majority of viewers won't know he isn't doing the jive as they don't go on forums or watch ITT. So that don't change voting actually. By the time they dance their "favourite" dance (which bizarrely is the paso!), the votes will be all sewn up. He won it before a step was danced tonight.

Jay is still way out ahead to win with the bookies. The only change I can see is that Kellie is moving up, bet wise, and Georgia is drifting back.
Katie stays the same, in 4th place.

Yep, I said that days ago. No Jive, no win.

that is exactly the expression I though of....

going on first (again)...dropping the jive, a decent QS but when did that dance ever really excite.....the audience/celebs/pro dancers all seemingly behind KK (CHANTING TENS')...where did all THAT COME FROM?plus a jay showdance that was maybe neat, tidy, too clever yet too SAFE........all adds up to the above....

we'll see...I ain't anyhwere near as sure.....its almost like between them they've conspired with the bloody judges to throw this away.

Yes. It seems a popularity contest more than anything. Still love Strictly, however.

They were chanting 10s because the professional dancers could see she has outperformed the others tonight. No conspiracy there.

I have watched that jive so many times on youTube and was really looking forward to a full-on version for the final.

Oh Aliona... what have you done
