Indeed, and Darcy had already run the teen fangirl argument for Jay , and Craig had pointed, out that Georgia was a class act with the quality to perform professionally. He didn't say that about Jay - because Jay can't act. . Len just pointed out who he thought should win. Bruno I think is split between Georgia and Kellie

And in this case, the marks clearly indicate who should win on merit, and who should come last. If it was close, or someone else had done better, or the judges marks were split, Len's comment would be out of place - as it is, its obvious.

You can just tell though how much he despises the fact that the unwashed public have control of this one

Why? The head judge said that the best dancer should win. Isn't that his job?

Naive and hair splitting. He is the only judge to EXPLICITLY declare, sorry confirm his bias. Marking is one thing, expressing who should win is another. After all, weve been told the judges' marks dont count. So why have ghey gone all out to promote Kellie tonight?

Wtf at these comments Did people not realise Darcey did exactly the same thing by saying Jay was her number 1??? People talk about judges biases but the bias for Jay/against Kellie on here has really been atrocious...

To influence the viewing public when the vote is still open ...no not in my opinion.

Sigh.

Darcy also called Jay her "number 1", but seeing as he's the golden boy no one much cared about that .

She wasn't the best dancer though. Her showdance was stumpy and her legs were wide apart. She hardly looked very elegant. Also in their mango the hold was wrong

Judges do this on all reality shows. Think of the remarks on BGT, X Factor, The Voice, etc. etc. And 3 out of the 4 did name a favourite, i.e., who they thought should win.

Are you really into trashy newspapers that just copy articles from elsewhere or just make them up as the case may be?

Darcy said Jay and Aliona were her number one. Either both should be criticised or neither.

And that is because Kellie's dances in the first half of the show were better. But in the "business end" of the show, Jay's dancing improved. I think she meant that overall, Jay was better in the series. And indeed, he did win.

Len gave his opinion which i happen to agree with so what's wrong with that.

Darcey said jay should win which based on tonight is totally biased.

So it's biased if you don't agree with it but not biased if you agree?

Why on earth should judges be impartial? What is the point of an impartial judge?

We the viewers got to vote for the winner. Is there actually anyone on here who though 'oooh Len said they should win - I'd better vote for them'?

Every one of the judges passed an opinion on their favourite dance - Len was quite direct in his choice of words - I don't see why he shouldn't be allowed to voice his opinion.

If it had been Claudia, Tess or Zoe I'd have been shocked and disappointed (it still wouldn't have swayed me) - judges are there to judge.

No it's fine for both to give an opinion, i would expect that of judges.

Len wasn't even asked the question if he thought Kellie and Kevin had done enough to win, Tess directed the question to Craig who answered with a very diplomatic swerve. Len made a point of returning to the question, that's what got to me the most.

I'd be bothered if tonight was the first time it had happened but it's a bit harsh to single out Len when other judges have done it over the years too.

Well, coming from a ballroom dance background like Len, I would say that she was and I can certainly understand why that was his opinion. If that is his opinion, as head judge, he is entitled to give it. I've never come across the mango before but it sounds rather delicious
