The judges have given scores and comments every week. It was stated several times last night that the judges scores and comments were for 'guidance' only. It is his job to give guidance on the basis of his opinion of the standard of dancing performed. If his opinion is that Kellie danced the best in the final then he is entitled to say so, indeed it is his job to do so. whether the public choose to be guided by specialists in dance or instead prefer to vote for the one they would most like to shag/the one who is dancing with the pro they would most like to shag/the celeb who mouths thank you when being put through the loudest/the celeb who was once in a TV show they watched/the celeb who was once in a band they liked etc is their choice.

I think it may have came across better had he said it in an ambiguous way.

I've had enough of Len this series. He's turned into a grumpy old git (remember how aggressive he was with Joe Varney) and offers very little in constructive criticism. He picks up on faults with some but completely ignores those same faults in others. Very inconsistent. If he's finding flitting across the pond for DWTS too much then its about time he jogged on and replaced by someone with a bit more enthusiasm who's not stuck in the 70s.

That doesn't mean that he can't have an opinion on who he thinks should win.

Is it any different to Craig saying Mark Ramprakash's showdance had to be the winning dance?

Exactly. People just seem to have it in for Len this series. He's not a robot, he will have an opinion, the public still have the only votes in the final, why the fuss?
