Not on tonight's performance.
We always knew the tragic Jay Fanatics would block vote for him even if he spent the night defecating on the dance floor
This is rude and uncalled for. I an 62 years old, have watched the show since it's inception. Jay has been my fave since the jive but I am not a fanatic, I just recognise growth and true artistry.

I'm glad he's classier in victory than a lot of his fans have been tonight and throughout the season. He seems a nice guy so I'm pleased for him, not so much for many of his supporters though.
I agree. Hopefully next year we won't have a celeb that has a fanbase like that next year.

One of the most pathetically juvenile, immature, ungracious and despicable opening posts I have seen.
Grow up for goodness sake.
Pathetic!!

I dont hate Jay but he didnt deserve to win, before tonight I thought Georgia would win but Kellie absolutely deserved it . Jay was quite average on the night, he has been better before.

The OP is just being very immature
Lolol so basically you change your mind a lot and that DOES represent maturity?

What a mean thread. So many posters are visiting the J&A AT congratulating the winners and down here you get a thread like this. What a shame.

Actually my bemused indifference reaches a new equinox.
Tedious fellow, largely indifferent dances. Indeed why did we have a final?

Jay just mentioned a whoopsy on the red button.

That has to be one of the stupidest, most nonsensical comments I've ever read on this forum (and that's saying something!). Either the OP is 12 years old or on a wind up. I'd like to believe an actual adult wouldn't say something so very idiotic!

I think it's less about Jay haters as doubters.

And his winning isn't something that's going to annoy people, because everyone knew it was going to happen anyway, based on his boybandy appeal to the bulk of the Strictly voting demographic.

So it's not so much "have some of that" as "This thread pretty much proves the doubters point".

So... um... thanks for that.

What growth has Jay experienced? Genuine question.

Shame there isn't a bit more respect for one another's opinions! Liking or disliking Jay as a dancer are both valid views. I'm not a big fan, but genuinely congratulate him & Aliona My first response if Kellie had won would not have been 'rub it up ye Kellie haters!'

I'm not sure how you figure that one out. The only person she is putting in a bad light is her, just being her normal, charming self - not!

What?

Did you understand my post? Posters who were NOT J&A supporters are visiting the J&A AT thread to offer their congratulations and a J&A fan starts a mean thread like this to gloat. What are you talking about?

I'm glad Jay is more gracious than some of his supporters on here.

This was a response to Buddy who is one of the most civilised, polite posters on these forums.

Bizarre to say the least!

Oh for Gods sake.
He cut his hair and another inch and a bit grew.
Don't you know how it works by now?

Jay winning has just proven to me that strictly is a popularity contest and not a dance contest.

For popularity shows like CBB and I'm a celeb I usually predict the winner and guess which method I use - no not crystal ball, but look at the number of followers they have on twitter, and the one with most followers wins.

However I expected more from Strictly. It is a dance contest not a popularity contest and the worst 3 of the dancers on the night WON. The judges scores were very accurate. Very unfair - yes he has the most followers on twitter, but since when did the number of twitter followers equate to how well you can dance

I don't hate Jay. I just don't feel much of anything when he dances. Technique yes he is good but personality he seems a bit bland.

I don't think there's any need for a gloating thread - as a Jay fan, the result says enough for me - but I won't miss the patronising posts aimed at Jay fans from his detractors.

It's an entertainment show. There's no need to be as rude as some have been.

No, it's both.

Utter shite but popular dancers don't win but nor do brilliant but unpopular ones.

I 100% agree that Jay was not the best on the night but he's hardly got two left feet. He wouldn't have got this far if he had. it's just a pity for Kellie and Georgia who did all they could tonight, out-danced him and still stood no chance.

Have nothing against Jay personally. Just the obsessive fans... very unpleasant.
