Fantastic. Well done Aliona. Amazing considering the amount of abysmal partners they have stuck her with.

On Friday's ITT Richard Madeley started on about giving credit to Aliona for getting Jay to the final, how he was distracted from watching the celebrity, had difficulty deciding who to watch, couldn't take his eyes off Aliona etc etc.

Richard, it's nothing to do with the dancing, it's because you are a bloke and Aliona is absolutely stunning,

Then Tony Jacklin followed by last year's forgettable chef would send most pros into early retirement.

Yes, well done to Aliona for winning with a dead cert and messing up Jay's showdance.

But wasn't he a 'dead cert' beause of what Aliona did with him from week 1? I enjoyed watching him and am glad they won but Jay wasn't any better than Natalie, Pixie, Rachel, Colin Jackson or even Austin Healey and none of them won.

Indeed must be so tough to win with 2 boybanders with massive fanbases

Anton could even have won with those 2.

On a serious note she's had three very competent partners and three hopeless ones...other female pros have had far worse.

It's her elderly wealthy husband that I feel sorry for.

Always rated Aliona highly. She's my favourite female pro. So happy she's the first two win twice.
