Thread title a bit simpering. I could rip her bloomers off with me teeth, but I stop short of calling her "Queen"

She really grew on me this year, she looked absolutely amazing every week and I loved her choreography, particularly in the jive (obviously), but also in the tango and salsa.

Hmm..they all spring to mind...Matt Baker, Harry Judd, Jay McGuinness....all utterly abysmal...
As do Rav Wilding, getting injured (when paired with Johnny Ball), Tony Jacklin and Gregg Walace.

Well deserved Aliona hope you are back next year.

Quite a turnaround for Aliona.

If it wasn't for a Natalie injury, Aliona may well have not even been on the show anymore.

Love how she is so laid back and not in your face.

Well done to her.

Yes, well done to Aliona for winning with a dead cert and messing up Jay's showdance.
Go on, throw a few more toys out of the pram...so entertaining to see the meltdown. Love the gnashing of teeth and the spitting out of sour grapes

I like her but she and Jay fondling and looking st each other like lovesick teenagers is a bit cringe.
Thank you, Shappy, well done.

Guess you don't ever experience what it's like to be gobsmacked, lost for words, or just astonished - she wasn't expecting to win the glitterball.

You're welcome, komentaightor, bravo to you too.

I was talking about their behaviour all series, not just tonight.

Aliona used to be hated on in this forum as much as the Cliftons are now.

Rather a turn around for her.

On Friday's ITT Richard Madeley started on about giving credit to Aliona for getting Jay to the final, how he was distracted from watching the celebrity, had difficulty deciding who to watch, couldn't take his eyes off Aliona etc etc.

Richard, it's nothing to do with the dancing, it's because you are a bloke and Aliona is absolutely stunning,
My 80 yr old FiL said something along the same lines about Aliona tonight! I wouldn't take anything away from Aliona though, she was superb this year - and can't help looking so amazing!
