Jay wins....i'm disappointed
Just to say, i know Jay is a tryer and it is not a total shambles but honestly Georgia and Kellie danced him off the stage tonight and one of them deserved to win.
I know Georgia and Kellie will win some of the tour dates so it's all good just like in the past. Georgia's showdance tonight was incredible and Giovanni and her have been brilliant. The biggest example of a male winning despite not being as good as the female has always been Rachel Stevens losing to Tom Chambers. Also Louis Spense winning over Kimberley and Denise who ruled their seasons. I do think the result could have been easily predicted before the show tonight and The Wanted fans have been out in force for him tonight. It also shows that the female vote is huge on this show. I think the judges bar Darcey will be disappointed by this result. It was predictable. Rant over, Well done Jay and Alonia, Well done Judges, BBC, Tess, Claudia, Zoe, the pro's and contestants for a utterly fabulous season. As always this show is one of the best entertainment shows out there. Tonight justice was not served and the public overlooked two brilliant female dancers for a male dancer who has had some good and bad moments on this series and they clearly wern't voting on the dancing. That is all. It would be interesting to see the percentages but i think as we know from previous shows that is a long shot

Mark my words, Georgia and Giovanni will have so many mini glitterballs from the tour dates it will be insane. ![]() I think it's nice the BBC likes having two runner up's and both of them can say it but i am interested to see who was second but it never happens. |

Jay wins -I'm ecstatic!!!!! The best dancer, with the best pro, dancing consistently the best over the whole series has won, all is right in the world.
Any other result would have been travesty. |

I'm delighted myself. He's been consistently good throughout. Totally deserved in my opinion.

Disappointed as well (Like seeing the happiness of his fans though), least I won't have to see him on my TV anymore.

This was as bad as
Louis Smith winning over Kimberley and Denise Tom Chambers winning over rachel Stevens Those female's ruled their season's. the ale's won because the voting population is mostly female. I know Caroline won last year...but still. I've always said for a female to win strictly she has got to be REALLY good or be in a all-female final (Abbey). Female's do win this show but male's have a unfair advantage especially male's who female's fancy and vote for that reason alone (Harry, Jay). |

Jay was sometimes great, often okay, constantly lacked the fine performance skills that would've made him outstanding. It isn't a travesty that he's won considering he is a good dancer but based upon tonight he was certainly the weakest of the three.
Best dance of the night is a very close run thing between Kellie's showdance and Georgia's Charleston. |

I am very pleased they won. The bigging up and over marking of Kellie and Georgia was sickening.

What a ridiculous sweeping generalisation. And Louis Smith's win was well-deserved, over the stage-school trained ringers, Kimberley and Denise. |

That was interesting - I was disappointed until I went back and watched THAT dance again on you tube (the one I couldn't believe they didn't do tonight - I wondered if they were scared of messing it up?) and nothing since has come close to how brilliant and exciting and moreish it was. So did Jay win on that dance or his fanbase or a bit of both? Would they have won anyway no matter what they did or didn't do tonight? Was it cockiness on their part as I did think their dances tonight were a bit boring compared to the others?

I think you're essentially claiming that every good female celeb is better than the best ever male celebs. If Harry and Jay can't win we might as well get a full selection of male comedy duffers and be done with it. Georgia and Kellie are good but there's nothing to suggest they'd rank among the top Strictly female celebs.

Arguably he wasn't the best on the night, but over the series I think he deserves the win. I actually think any of the final three would have been worthy winners. They all seem to genuinely get on so well and seem so nice, I doubt Kellie and Georgia begrudge Jay the win.

I'm happy
For me it was always between Jay and Georgia Kellie seemed to be one chosen one in the last couple of weeks But for me Jay was most consistent and I looked forward to his performances |

Jay was good. Georgia and Kellie were better on the night. He wasn't the most consistent. This is not a Chris Hollins travesty but is disappointing

It also shows that the female vote is huge on this show. I think the judges bar Darcey will be disappointed by this result. It was predictable.
