No, its because he loves himself and i dont care where he is from. The boy has no humility and gets far too much coverage

If they wanted Jay to loose they wouldn't of had been so harsh on him in part 1. The judges know damn well that the public like to vote against the judges. |

Jay was the star of SCD 2015 and partly responsible for its huge viewership figures.

I think of them all Georgia will benefit most from Strictly .I have a feeling she will aim towards musical theater and will find it a lot easier after tonight to get there

as it was up to the public tonight the judges cannot manipulate anything there have been other couples who have scored well on the night and not won - the public will have the winner they choose. Jay deserved his win on the season of performances but on the night and as a judge for over 35 years I would have marked it as the judges did tonight based purely on tonight

Questions have to be asked about 40 being awarded to a Tango danced in ballroom hold. I think more than one person smelt a rat at that point if not before.

I don't get the hate for Kevin, I really don't. He's an excellent dancer and produces quality routines which are eye catching and he knows the public, on the whole, will enjoy. Kellie was the best tonight and she couldn't have done anymore. I voted for Jay so I am not saying this as a bias Kellie/Kevin fan. The judges are all entitled to an opinion but in the end they all know it comes down to the public vote.

Who hates him? Who has said that about him? I haven't and I don't think anyone else has either at least not on this thread. He's a brilliant choreographer. But I think they thought he was owed a win.

The public are, indeed, stupid. It's a dancing competition and only one couple scored two sets of full marks tonight and therefore should have won.
Clearly? So explain why they got better marks than the other two couples then? ![]() |

I didn't say it was a conspiracy and I know the judges votes don't count. But they thought they would try.
Kellie WAS the best on the night but people don't vote for the final night, regardless of whether they should or not. They vote for consistency and that belongs to Jay. |

Does not compute. The ballroom tango is in hold?????

The ballroom Tango hold is different to the Ballroom Waltz/Foxtrot/QS hold. Their hold was nearer the latter. Normally in BTango the womans thumb is tucked into the mans armpit and the mans hand is slightly further round the womans back. |

The judges have been doing this long enough to know that their opinion is not going to sway the public, in fact it can often have the opposite effect i.e "OMG he criticised my favourite, how dare s/he!" *picks up phone stomps feet* "I'll show them!" type thing.
I don't get why people think the judges giving their option is bias, it's ridiculous. |

Certainly overmarked considering they made a very obvious mistake.
Thanks Monaogg - was just about to come back to say that! Plus Kellie was more vase-shaped in hold rather than upright. |

As the judges marks don't count - why bother with the leaderboard in the final?
By this stage of the competition, I think most viewers can predict what the judges will say to any of the couples, and I for one didn't appreciate the hatchet job they gave poor Katie this evening (and indeed all the way through the series). All of the first round dances were pretty much of a muchness - and none of them deserved 40 - especially the tango (Jay was frequently criticised for lack of facial expression - but K&K had waaaaay too much facial expression for a tango). Showdances were all a bit Meh! And as far as the battle of the Charlestons was concerned - G&G won that hands down, but Jays paso was fabulous! I don't hate Kevin, but I don't particularly like him - he's too cheesy and OTT for my taste, and I'm tired of the "from Grimsby" nonsense. I think that he over dances everything and he can overshadow his celeb at times - and not only to mask their faults! |
