I'm another who thinks that all of the judges should go too.
Len is just too grumpy - and this year he doesn't even have the excuse that he's doing a lot of travelling for DWTS. He deserves a round of applause for being the only member of the "establishment" who was prepared to take a chance on doing the show all those years ago, but like Bruce before him - he's past his sell by date now. That said - if he goes he needs to be replaced by someone else who is a qualified ballroom dancer if not a qualified judge - and that replacement needs to be the Head Judge.
Bruno has grown with the show, and of the three non ballroom dancers on the panel, he seems to have learnt a lot from doing DWTS and Strictly, but he's started to be downright nasty to some contestants, and his flamboyance is getting silly
Craig has just got sillier and nastier as the years go on. He "sounds" like he knows what he's talking about, but if you ask an expert about what he says, a lot of it is just nonsense. His delight in being Mr Nasty, and refusing to give 10s for the smallest and nitpicking the faults (like who actually CARES if someone's thumb sticking up is the only error? If the footwork, technique and performance was good - a single sticking up thumb shouldn't prevent a 10 being awarded. Constructive and appropriate criticism delivered in a kind way gets better results - a demolition job, particular when the criticism was wrong is never cool! He should NEVER be head judge.
Darcey? Well, what about her? She just parrots what "the boys" say most of the time - and whilst she may have been a prima ballerina assoluta, that doesn't qualify her to judge on this show.
Basically, as I said on another thread, we need a split panel - two qualified Ballroom specialists judging on technique, and two others judging on performance, and while the specialists can comment on performance, the performance judges should not attempt to mark the technical side.
