My two penny's worth as a newbie to Strictly this year ...

I have not enjoyed watching Brendan, not necessarily because of the dancing - I imagine it's so hard to show their dancing talent when the celebs are really difficult to dance with as Kirsty seemed to be. What affected my opinion of him was the unconcealed contempt he appeared to have for the judges at times. I've seen him make a comment or two on ITT or in the Clauditorium that came across to me as petulant. I wouldn't mind if he did not return. I have nothing against subversiveness, in fact it can be enjoyable and interesting but Brendan's attitude was not entertaining to me and I don't feel he brought out the best in Kirsty.

I did not enjoy any of Anton's routines with Katie (except their rumba which even though a bit shaky surprised me) ... I zoned out usually when they danced, unless I was transfixed with horror (salsa anyone). I don't find Anton funny AT ALL. Trying too hard to be jovial. I do not feel drawn to him ... and I had quite a good opinion of him before watching ... he's a name I was vaguely aware of.

I like all the rest well enough ... at the least, I'm interested to see how they do with different partners.

Although I really disagreed with the judges at times, overall I find them entertaining and would not change them.

Aliona just confirmed on Twitter that this is her last year on Strictly. She says that she was always going to leave this year no matter what.

I hope Jo comes back. With Ola and now Aliona confirmed departees, there has to be a strong case for her and Oti.

I'd be happy with 10 or 12. Give them all 2 latins and 2 ballrooms before a dance off to see if any mistakes were a blip. Also, I think a three couple final works best.

Yes, I'd be happy with fewer couples and perhaps a week or two at the beginning where no one is voted off. It would mean everyone would get a chance to immerse her or himself in it and learn some basics before being given the boot. It might put the emphasis back on learning to dance and it would certainly make it friendlier and more fun

I'm glad Aliona and Ola are gone, my two least favourite professionals by miles, I do think Anton might hang up his shoes and most likely Kristina (sadly, I've really warmed to her this series so will be upset to see her go.)

Kristina looks unhappy this series I think she probably knew it was her last series. I wouldn't miss Anton or Brenda.
I like Neil hopefully he will join with Katya, I'd like all 3 new pro's back, Joanne and most of all Tristan.

Neil Jones, I should have put his surname, he has been involved with Strictly for a few years but more so this year both him and his wife choreographed a lot of routines he was also a backing dancer quite a few times.

I'm not sure. Anyway, always open to newbies and sometimes they're very welcome. Maybe next year's a time for a massive pro shake up. Keep the judges for one more year and then replace one or two.
