What a moment .
Craig saying to Georgia he would be proud to put her in any of his West End shows. One of the loveliest things he has said to any contestant.

Absolutely!
A really touching moment - it will have meant so much to her.

Agree - and knowing Craig, this would not be an empty promise! Georgia did say she wanted to try some stage work.

It was great but I hope he meant it as she was so excited by it.

That was one of my favourite moments of this series.

It was a lovely moment.

I know ! Terribly flattering for her and basically a "you've got the job kid" moment . It means she is assured of future work should her telly acting career end (which it kind of has I suppose) . Doing west end shows is quite lucrative and a great chance for her to establish herself in something more than bit parts on telly .

Yes I agree it was such a great moment, both the niceness of Craig's comment and Georgia's reaction to it - you can imagine she was in a precarious part of her career after being axed from Corrie and wasn't really sure where her career was going next, so that comment understandably meant a lot to her. Hope she gets work from this as she's a brilliant dancer/performer and absolutely lovely

Ruthie Henshall said something very similar on ITT this week.

Obviously they see great potential in her. I wish her the best of luck, she is a little gem!

It was so sweet she was chuffed to bits!

It was lovely and really a great 'audition' from Georgia. In the final she really showed more truth and range of feelings than the other finalists, from her dramatic rumba through the moving showdance to the sheer joy of the Char-less-ton! Well-played Georgia and Giovanni and well-said Craig

Lovely Craig. I just really hope she can sing because I would love to see her as Roxie or Sally Bowles, and that's just based on the one Char-less-ton. Craig is directing the Sister Act tour next year and I could see Georgia as Sister Mary Robert (if she has a strong voice), but sadly that role doesn't involve too much strenuous dancing.

The way she said 'Really?' through her tears, so sweet.

I doubt if he would say it if he didn't mean it, so it was lovely and very unexpected. I think he liked how quickly she learned the correct technique in her dances and performed in character for each dance. Her shoulder was the main problem and that could be sorted if needs be.

It was a great moment I'm sure that meant just as much to her as winning would. Not to mention Giovanni also had a little tear he must be so proud to produce such talent from her.

It was her winning moment

It was lovely, and I thought that was Georgia's 'winning moment'. I don't think if she'd won the glitter ball it could have topped how she felt at that point.

It's similar to when Arlene said in the Series 2 final that she hoped to work with Jill one day, after Jill was brave enough to re-perform her outstanding jive.

Jill did go on to do Chicago in the West End I think, before returning to TV.

I know that West End was the cherry but I loved his reasons even more, where he spoke about truth, integrity and creativity in performance. That shows the measure of Craig as well as being a wonderful comment on the dances she and Gio came up with, and what they brought to them.

Both the rumba and the showdance went against the electric atmosphere of a final, like Jay's showdance did. The difference is that GG took you with them despite the unexpected interior and complex feeling of both routines

A compliment that really means something.

Hope it was meant and not just said for the effect of the moment in a "theatrical" way.

I remember when she first appeared on Coronation Street and I would never imagine her getting this far I am so pleased her for she is so loveable. Her Parents should be so proud of her.

If she can sing then she could definitely appear in the West End. If she can't then the chances are going to be a bit more restricted. It was a lovely thing for Craig to say though and I think Georgia has absolutely blossomed into a much more complete and outgoing performer throughout the show.
