Now I didn't want Kellie to win, but I think that comment was just a sweet, innocent comment saying how happy she was to get a forty.

It didn't bother me at all that she said it and I was voting for Jay. Didn't occur to me there was any connotation other than being delighted.
She was chuffed with her 40 (personally I thought undeserved for that Tango) but I had no problem with what she said, it must be the most amazing feeling. I also thought it was nice that after being his first partner to land in a dance off she got Kevin his first 40 |

If any comment cost her (which I really don't think it did) I think it'd been Len saying she should win. The public don't like being told what to do or who to vote for.
The judges should not comment on who should or should not win or who is their number one, they should just comment on the dance itself, which incidently I find useful because I have learnt a lot about what to look for from them. |

Absolutely. In fact all the judges made remarks which they shouldn't have done. Len saying "I love you" was most inappropriate at this stage of the game.

I wonder how many people on this forum have ever performed in front of an audience. Those who have will know just how charged with adrenalin you become, especially when the occasion is so overwhelming and the activity so strenuous. Under those circumstances, people can say things that they don't really mean. They all may be professional entertainers, but they are still human beings and they have the same emotions as the rest of us. I think Kellie was simply expressing how overwhelmed she was to have scored the series' first 40.
I wonder what else posters will find to criticise? Craig..Bruno..Len...Anton..the Cliftons (ESPECIALLY the Cliftons), the result, the "fix"...the list is endless. Personally I thought it a great series and a great ending. |

Wasn't it the first 40 that had been awarded all this series???

I think she and Kevin did very well throughout and pulled out all the stops to topple the favourite. It was a good outcome

I don't think Kellie said anything that cost her the trophy. Both Kellie and Georgia outdanced Jay tonight and it was his fans that made sure he lifted the glitterball.
