Kellie was smug, masculine and bandy legged... so glad she didn't win.

not robbed at all. again i was gobsmacked at 2 x 40 marks....... georgias charleston was far better imo, and the star wars dance i was pretty much what the hell is all that about, not much quality of dancing in there for me just waving light sabers about........ a fun dance perhaps but hardly much quality to it.

Kellies done very well in the comp but jay georgia or helen were my deserving 3 finalists.

Kevin & Kellie danced very well last night but for me it was all too much of the same thing. I would say that's been a theme for them all season. Both Aliona & Giovanni tried to showcase how their partners had become dancers in the true sense of the word rather than simply an entertainer.

Some maybe but not all. I think the general consensus from Jay fans (just reading the AT etc.) is Jay did struggle slightly yesterday but was better throughout the series.

I'm not sure if the Judges' comments (not marks) helped much; I think they laid it on thick both positively and negatively which left a sour taste for many.

Its been like this every year !
I think Jay attracted a more younger voter due to him being in a band.
Having said that Kelly and Kevin were robbed

”

Thank you for making this 60 something year old white-haired old woman with creaking joints feel like a spring chicken again. I'm not sure the voting demographic is really relevant though - Jay polled the most votes; doesn't matter what type of age, gender or whatever other factors applied. If the majority were old women and/or young girls, so what? When push comes to shove, it's numbers that count, nothing else.

For me personally, Jay's dancing moved me while Kellie's didn't (Georgia's fell somewhere in the middle). As Mr Darcy said "any savage can dance", but it's HOW you dance that matters both to the dancer and the spectator........and that, of course, is a very subjective thing.

No she wasn't robbed. If she'd shown a bit more humility and stopped running around like a screaming banshee she might have picked up more support. She's been overmarked way too many times for my liking and the GBP are not fools. Why do you think she's been in the DO twice. The public didn't connect with her. Simples.

Think all three of them were worthy however all the hate for Kellie on these threads is so unnecessary, What has she ever done to deserve such nasty comments?

Kellie was not robbed, she lost on the night to a very good dancer. There have been finals where the better dancer has lost but, this year is not one of them. The huge mistake K&K made was thinking by running around like screaming banshees every time they were in the Tesspit was endearing them to the GBP. I loved a lot of K&K's routines and looked forward to their performances every week but, the minute they opened their mouths my votes went to someone-else.

I voted for them last night because I did think they were excellent in the first part of the show -even though the "headbanging" part reminded me of Andrew Castle. However in the second part I thought following G&G's Charleston with a Charleston was a big mistake and probably should have gone with one of their other high scoring dances. Not that it would have made any difference because although they could challenge J&A on dance ability their OTT personalities meant that they had lost the final very early on in the series.

For me, Kellie's tango now goes into a group with the likes of Lisa Snowdon's cha cha and quickstep, Pamela's quickstep, Jason's AT and Abbey's salsa as one of the most ridiculous perfect scores on Strictly.

I'll give her the showdance because, while it wasn't to my taste, it did what showdances probably should do. Wow the masses.

In the third round, Georgia and Jay whooped her arse imo.

So no, for me Kellie was not robbed. She performed well but the scores over-inflated a good performance.

Kellie was in the bottom 2 twice. Jay never was. Jay is a better dancer than Kellie and came across as much more humble. The judges blatant favouritism of Kellie could have worked against her too.

I agree re Kellie doing the same thing. She has done a lot of side by side stuff even when it's not really been relevant to the style of dance. Her Lindy Hopwas pretty much a Charlston which was the same as her choice of dance. I was bored half way through her show dance as it was all the same stuff repeated.

I just found her very manly in her dancing...

Can someone tell me who this Jay lad is? And what has he done to warrant 'Celebrity Status'?

I didn't have a clue who he was.

Kelly definitely was not robbed, Jay was always a better dancer than her, right from the beginning, and in my view it was always going to be between Jay and Georgia. I voted three times for Jay and I'm no spring chicken (72, thank you very much !) He was so graceful and he always seemed to give it his all, as did Georgia, what a lovely girl she is.

Kelly, I just found loud and very annoying along with her partner Kevin. I'm not even bothering to mention Katie, she shouldn't have been there, it should have been Anita in that final.

The very best person won, and I'm so happy he did.

It shouldn't. And anyway, only one Show Dance is allowed in the final

Not robbed at all - not a popular couple being in the dance off twice tells you that.”

It might tell you that, for whatever reason, they were not a popular couple, but being in the dance off has often completely ignored the dancing expertise of the celebrity in question. If you don't vote for someone just because you don't like them, never mind that they might be a superb dancer, then in your eyes they'll never be a worthy winner if everyone else does vote them.

Yes Kellie and Kevin may have been in the DO twice, but Kellie was certainly very good, especially on the night, and Kevin is actually a very popular professional .. remember the good hearted brickbats like 'Kevin from Grimsby' when he was a newbie on SCD? People warmed to him straight away and he's proved his worth in the series.

Jay - much bigger range of styles and paces.
Kellie - narrow range of frenetic dances.

That or Jay's fangirls were making up the majority of his votes.

Kellie has been the most consistent throughout the series, never once delivering a bad performance. And as usual she stole the show last night. It's a shame people don't vote on the dancing alone because she would've won with flying colors. She was leaps and bounds ahead of the competition last night. And I think Kellies Charleston was better than Georgia's. Georgia's was very "look what I can do" whereas Kellies was simple and completely in time. To quote Darcey - "perfection".

This. Fangirls literally ruin everything. I've seen it with TV shows too - where the writers write to the fangirls needs.

I was talking about the type of fangirl who finds him "hot" and therefore always votes for the good looking one regardless of his talent.
