Yes congratulations to Katie I have loved watching her all series and she is one of the few i looked forward to every week and she took everything on board and didnt complain when she had a few dogy weeks and definatly the right person to take Anton to the final. I think her showdance was undermarked as it really had the wow factor and had more about it. I think she deserved a 10 purley for that move when she fell back for anton to catch her and also i think she had made more than a 5 point improvment in the QS fantastic and well done Anton also for getting to the final. voted for them like mad everyweek

I thought Katie came across very well and can never understand how strong opinions on what people are like can be formed on the evidence of what is seen during a tv show.

That's not it - she wasn't a good enough dancer to be in the final. And if people are voting for what they perceive her to be to get her into the final - they don't know her personally anyway and she wasn't a good enough to be there AS a dancer. Anita or Helen should have been there.

I don't think her actual technique improved at all during the series, so that she was only as good in the final as she was in the beginning. That failing must be down to Anton only teaching her the dances but not improving her basic technique.

I agree. To me Katie came across as supercilious and smug.

all these

She was never going to win, but it's the taking part that counts...

All you are doing is giving an opinion, which you are entitled to but I don't agree at all.

In the final Jay wasn't a good enough dancer-to win "AS a dancer" to use your terminology- Kellie was better, but Jay still won.

The final three were consistently better that anyone else. Anita, Helen and Katie all had extremely dodgy dances in the last two or three weeks, it was just a question of when those dances fell.

That also all had dances that topped the leaderboard during the run of the show. Any of the three could have made it, and none of the three were in the same league across the whole spectrum of dances as the final three.

Huh? Katie had never danced before, so she started from scratch, therefore went from no technique to achieving the amazing marks she got in the final against competition from three people who'd attended theatre school.

Likewise, I thought Anton did amazingly well and his choreography was absolutely brilliant.
