Your Favourite 3 Dances 2015
Let's not disagree about who was robbed, who was awful. Let's just list our 3 favourite dances of the series. Group dances, song dances, even Judge entrance dances. Anything goes!! (Oh hi, Helen.)
My number one has to be Oti and Aljasz dancing to Brandon Flowers's 'Still Want You.' I'm addicted to the song and in this dance, Oti really makes me question my lifestyle. Aljasz does help me see 'gay' again though. ![]() http://youtu.be/6saPJ_Hl134 Two: Georgia's Char-less-ton. Perfect song and dance combined. http://youtu.be/HaoDElHUIqw Third is Jamelia's Quickstep in Blackpool. I just loved it. A great finish for her. http://youtu.be/dFfEd12jb6g |

Great thread! In no particular order:
For sheer impact and glamour, Kevin and Kellie's American Smooth For its floaty glidingness, Helen and Aljaž's VW. Twas sumptuous. Was she using real physical feet to move around?? I am an idiot. I should pick their Char-less-ton that I know deserved its 40... I could pick their moving and simple VW. I'm drawn to their dramatic rumba (in either incarnation), but no, the exploding poppy and the BAMM! of that first 'Vo-la-reeee' wins my stupid heart every time. Georgia and Giovanni's Samba. Loved it. Honourable mention for Ainsley's tomatoes, and, just Ainsley really. And for Jay's beautifully threadbare rumba. |

V boring and unoriginal I'm sure, but mine are:
1. Jay's jive 2. Jay's tango 3. Georgia's Charleston There are others I loved - Helen's VW, Ainsley's salsa, Kellie's AS plus more - but they're the three I keep going back to on YouTube. |

1) Anita and Gleb's Waltz, Halloween, Maleficent
2) Jay and Aliona's Jive 3) Watched it again yesterday and really loved it, Anita and Gleb's Tango. (Though Georgia and Giovanni's Samba and Charleston are really up there for me, as is Jay and Aliona's Samba...) Just 3 is tough! |

Dervlathedog and DeltaBlues, you don't need to preface your posts as you have. If you loved it, you loved it. No justification needed.
Here comes a rant: A 'guilty pleasure' is a contradiction in terms. If you love it and it's not illegal then it should be called a 'pleasure.' You will never find anything that all however-many-billion of us there are on this planet agree on. If it makes you happy, then rejoice in it. Be proud of what you enjoyed. Let's make this thread the Greatest Hits of 2015. If it means that every single dance is listed then what a great series. |

1) Georgia's Charleston... must have wtched it about twenty times now & I could watch it another twenty, just love the sheer enjoyment & enthusiasm!!
2) Georgia's Blackpool American Smooth... Came the week after the Charleston & just highlighted her versatility, graceful, lyrical & gorgeous 3) Jay's Jive...you just don't do something that good in week three!! The other judges should have had Bruno's courage & got their 10 paddles out because it was that good!! |

1. Georgia & Giovanni's American Smooth (Week 9). I genuinely thought she deserved 4 tens for that. So beautiful.
2. Anita & Gleb's Paso (Week 9). Whilst not technically perfect, the music, the setting, the drama made it hugely entertaining. 3. Kellie & Kevin's American Smooth (Week 12). Similar to Georgia really, but a different more show-stopper kind of atmosphere. Honorable mentions (because three is far too difficult); Georgia's showdance, and Jay's Salsa and showdance. |
