Am I the only one who found the showdances a bit meh last night? Don't get me wrong, they were all danced to a high technical standard, just a bit underwhelming creatively.

Imo, whilst Katie's showdances had errors and wasn't technically the best, hers is the only showdance I would want to watch again, it was full of drama and grandiosity. She didn't 100% pull it off, but it was the makings of a stunning showdance. For what it was, it was the most exciting of all of them imo.

I guess Kellie's had more excitement to it than the other two, but I wasn't bowled over by it. Georgia went for emotional, but I wasn't feeling it, and found it understated... which is good for a non showdance. Jay, I honestly was bored. Nothing against the man, congrats to him....but bored.

Makes me wish Anita and Gleb got through, as they would have taken risks and produced something interesting... that may or may not have worked, but at least it would have been interesting.

I completely agree.

Some of Anita and Gleb's 'ordinary' routines, for example their tango to Sweet Temptation (and others) would have made more gripping show dances than anything that we saw last night.
