Before pouring vitriol in my direction, please note this was told to me by the gentleman next door and is not necessarily my opinion

A retired ballet dancer, a dance teacher, a chorus boy and a Widow Twankie

Interesting that you have repeated the description - you haven't given an opinion, so do you feel that it adequately sums up their stellar careers and expertise in the field of dance, especially the "Widow Twankie" jibe about Len? Personally I don't.

The widow Twankie was referring to poor old Craig

Did you put a T in front of Twankie by mistake?

Ah, very funny! In fact he is a gifted choreographer. I saw "Sunset Boulevard" directed by him a few years back and it showed a great understanding of stagecraft, script, music and dancing. Despite his occasional wounding comments and ungenerous marking, it seems that the dancers really value his praise more than that of the other judges.

Craig was a dancer at the Lido in Paris. One of the boys that dance around the girls dressed in not much more than feathers.
Not much ballroom dancing goes on there.

Everyone's career starts somewhere. Didn't Marilyn Monroe pose for calendar pictures, unless I'm mistaken? And anyhow, you can develop expertise in dance, which is clearly what Craig did.

Scarcity can make anything seem more precious.
