because Kellie did not win...where is the uproar...it is a well known fact that Jay walked it.

Also last night on these threads Jay supporters were called 'horny housewives' first let me say that I have a daughter the same age as Jay and on being called 'Horny I found derogatory...my own son in law thought he was great.

On the second strictly the first one to dance was Jay and I was really impressed by his Cha Cha. I also loved the fact that he was so nervous. Then when he went on to do the Waltz and what a beautiful dance that turned out to be...and then the third week that jive.

Those dances were amazing and though he had his up's and down's he was in my eye's the best dancer there.

Craig was right last night at the after party when he said Jay captured the hearts and minds of the British people...and that is exactly what he did.

It has nothing to do with being 'horny housewives' it has to do with Jay being a beautiful dancer.

He was the people's choice and that is why he won.

I agree.

No doubt, someone will be along to 'correct' you.

Both Georgia and Jay were better than Kellie. The judges wanted her to win and didn't find 1 fault in her performances and yet they nitpicked at the tiniest stumbles and mistakes Georgia and Jay made.

The judges were basically trying to tell the public to vote for her but it backfired big time because they were being too obvious and the final nail in the coffin was when Len said she should win.

Come on now...

Yes you can agree he had support from all (I myself have loved him all along) BUT look at Twitter and Facebook and you can see he has that ex-boyband fan support behind him who would vote a thousand times even if he fell on his arse.

Most assumed he would win months ago, so well done to him. However Georgia and Kellie put up a good fight.

You could say the same about Kellie millions watch Eastenders and with Georgia millions watch Coronation Street.

Exactly...because the comments it is getting from the public is showing that even the DM readers loved Jay.

There is usually 'uproar' after the event, everyone has a different favourite (which is as it should be) so some of the more vocal fans who's faves don't win will create a fuss. Simples.

Horny housewives? That's a new one.

On a related subject, I really hate "menopausal" being used as an insult as is often bandied around these boards.
It's something that 50% of the general population will experience

Horny housewife?????

jeez I liked him because he rminded me of my son who used to be just like him and because he was IMO the best dancer

thinking of him in a horny way is just so wrong and its disgusting if someone suggested I thought of him that way

I agree...just no need for it...if you do not agree with them you are insulted.

That's not the same and you know it.

But it's silly to go over things like this. Jay is a much better winner than most of the other male champions so I'm pleased.

The DM comment section is a cesspool of filth, though.

DM creates the non existent drama, everyone knew Jay would win months ago.

I'm sure loads of people voted for Jay because he was in The Wanted, but it doesn't take much effort to find many people who voted for him solely because of what he did on this programme. Its up for debate whether he was best on the night, but he won - and as for an uproar at Kellie not winning, that's just plain ridiculous. We all knew she had a battle on her hands after being in the dance-off twice, she evidently turned it around but not quite enough to win.

I think ALL the finalists did themselves proud and its a shame that this rag has to try and spoil it, I love that they all brought some unique qualities to their dancing and it made for an interesting final.

I am so sorry if this offends but Kellie should not have even been in the final. The most unexciting, mouthy dancer I have ever seen on SCD. She was so boring that I had to pause and fast forward when she came on. Again apologies. Don't know what she is like as an actress. I cant comment because I don't watch EE.

You're right they are far more a part of the consciousness of the typical 'stay in on a Saturday night and vote for a dancing show' than Jay could ever be.

Will be honest and say that I never really did like Kellie's dancing...but the screaming and being desperate to get in every camera shot put me of her more.

I'm not sure any younger person is out at that time on a Saturday night. I know my daughter goes out at about 10.30! I usually coming back home from a night out at that time

She watched the show last night while getting ready and on the phone with her friend who was doing the same thing
