Will be honest and say that I never really did like Kellie's dancing...but the screaming and being desperate to get in every camera shot put me of her more.
It is SCD, not the Clifton show. |

I know usually have a group of girls in my daughters bedroom...they go out between 10.30pm and 11.00pm...and I am thinking it will soon be time for bed.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Indeed. I often have my pyjamas on and am tidying up to go to bed as my daughter's taxi pulls up at the door and she waves goodbye! Oh to be young again

Wait I am a straight man who is about the same age as Jay and I voted for him because I thought he was the best over all.... does that mean I am a horny midwife as well? I despise boyband's as well so people saying only fans of what ever band he was in voted for him is ridiculous.
Wouldnt people who watch that dire Eastenders and dire coronation street vote from Kellie and Goergia as well? People are just upset because their favourites did not win, at the end of the day the public had to vote for who they wanted to win and Jay got the most votes, and the other two did not. Simple as. |

because Kellie did not win...where is the uproar...it is a well known fact that Jay walked it.
Also last night on these threads Jay supporters were called 'horny housewives' first let me say that I have a daughter the same age as Jay and on being called 'Horny I found derogatory...my own son in law thought he was great. On the second strictly the first one to dance was Jay and I was really impressed by his Cha Cha. I also loved the fact that he was so nervous. Then when he went on to do the Waltz and what a beautiful dance that turned out to be...and then the third week that jive. Those dances were amazing and though he had his up's and down's he was in my eye's the best dancer there. Craig was right last night at the after party when he said Jay captured the hearts and minds of the British people...and that is exactly what he did. It has nothing to do with being 'horny housewives' it has to do with Jay being a beautiful dancer. He was the people's choice and that is why he won. "Jay did as well as everybody else" - for a champion he should have done better if anything "At the end it's up to audience" "jay won the hearts and minds of the nation but in this competition is not necessarily the best dancer that always win" "He came on this show with not much of a personality and won. Hello?" - love the bitchy "hello" at the end! He praised the bejesus of Kellie during the interview. See for yourself, it starts around at the 3 minute mark in the IPlayer: http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode...ners-interview |

^ Craig's whole demeanor there was frankly hilarious because this is Jay we're talking about? It's not like Chris Hollins won in a final up against Kara, Jill and Alesha now
It's like when Len said something along the lines after the Rumba of 'now I'm convinced you're a great dancer' and I'm wondering when the retconning of Jay being able to dance started Lol at there being apparent 'uproar' at a result which everyone has been saying has been nailed on for at least 10 weeks. |

Craig wanted Kellie to win. He said weeks ago that he and Kellie had become really good mates and drinking buddies in the bar after the show. I couldn't possibly say if his personal bias informed his comments, or not , but he was downright rude to Jay and Aliona last night.

You could say the same about Kellie millions watch Eastenders and with Georgia millions watch Coronation Street.
Jay picked up loads of support from people who only know him from the show, but anyone who doesn't believe the backbone of his support came from his Wanted fan base is in denial. |

Hardly. Being a fan of a successful boy band is nothing like being an actress on a soap. When was the last time you saw a soap character being confronted by thousands of screaming fans?

Can't stand Kellie. Can't stand Kevin, Karen and the associated family & pals unit including Joanne & Janette. They should dump Kevin and Karen, dump Janette - even if it means Aljaz going.
It is SCD, not the Clifton show. I can’t stand pro dancers, pro dancers with extended families who are also pro dancers, celebs with no dance background, celebs who went to stage school, celebs who went to stage school and were in a boy band, celebs who went to stage school and were in a soap opera, Anton Du Beke, Katie’s legs, Jay’s long hair, Jay’s short hair, Gleb getting his chest out at every opportunity, Georgia not getting her chest out at every opportunity, ex models presenting a TV dance show, ex ballroom dancers judging a TV dance show, Antipodean’s judging TV dance shows, Italians judging TV dance shows, judges on TV dance shows who have to stand to make their comments, ex ballet dancers who judge TV dance shows, ex ballet dancers getting the vapours with god looking young men dancing, too much faffing about, props, other dancers performing with the couples, getting to Blackpool, sprung dance floors, stupid music choices, wafting choreography, inconsitant marking, Peter Bloody Andre, corny music choices e.g. weather themes for Carol, sequins, spray tans, dance offs, posters who nothing about dancing but pontificate like they are the worlds expert, posters with a favourite who can do no wrong but will never concede that another could be as good or better than their favourite, cries of fix or rigged ( apart from when it was Peter v Jamelia) the Daily Mail, Len’s walnuts, themed weeks, the man in the hat, Sunday’s “live” dance off show, terms and conditions, group dances, guest artists who can’t sing, and the glitter ball. And I can’t wait until next year’s Strictly. P.S. I lied about Katie’s legs! |

Roseblue - Don't take the insult to heart. My daughter is 9 months older than Jay so I understand how you feel, but we will never extract an apology or explanation for these sort of comments. I have asked certain posters numerous times through the years to explain their remarks but not one has ever had the courtesy to reply, let alone engage in rational dialogue. To those who drop a derogatory comment and then hide I say that this is a discussion forum...

I voted Jay from day one. But last night I thought Kellie was amazing until, she did the stupid silly(not in a good way) Charleston straight after the amazing one from Georgia. That was what really killed her off.

Of course he would have had fans from the Wanted ...but I agree with others that millions watch Eastenders every week....only they were not voting for Kellie they were voting for Jay.
Also, boyband fans are more "devoted" than soap fans. |

Never head of Wanted until a few weeks ago but voted for Jay 3 times in the first half & 3 times in the second. No-one said that you were supposed vote for your favourite all the way through but then switch to someone who happened to do a particularly good dance on the night. Only the showdance was a bit of a damp squib (based on expectation) - the QS & Paso were as good as Kellie anyway.

Jay was my favourite because imho he was the best all round dancer. I think every week the judges expected more from him than the others and marked him on a different scale to everyone else
Last night they nit picked through jay and Georgia dances yet didn't mention once the mistakes Kellie made. kellie's show dance was no more of a show dance than the others imho and it was very much like a lot of the other stuff she has done. She has done loads of side by side stuff and it was hard to see the difference between her Lindy Hop show dance and her Charlston Kellie is however a great performer and gets away with murder cos she can sell a dance. This is in many ways down to her age and experience a huge advantage she has over both Jay and Georgia. Jay was my winner cos he was the one I enjoyed watching the most. It's quite simple really |
