Well, apart from the Christmas Special. I wonder which of next year's contestants will prove to be so controversial and if people on here will begin to love Kevin.

Kevin has grown on me....in a good way
but
this year was as good as over for me when Pasha was paired with the nice but talentless Carol.

Only if he calms down a bit.

I will never love him because his self-love is self-serving so he doesn't need my help. I will start to judge him when he gets a partner who is overweight and not nubile. His real test will come when he has to work from a minus point and get to 1 slowly. So far, he's had more help than any other pro for head starts.

I'm sad it's over - but also recognise it's time to get my life back!

My mum thinks he's "unassuming".

Does she and what do you think as your mums not here to speak for herself?

There is only one thing worse in Strictly than being controversial, and that is not being controversial.

Part of me is quite relieved its over... and yes I know I don't have to watch but its bloody addictive!

There have been some wonderful highs this series - Jay, Helen, Georgia, Kellie and Jeremy(!) have turned in some wonderful performances which I've enjoyed very much - but its been very much spoilt for me by the judges being just plain rude and aggressive, manipulation to an extent I'd not felt before, and some of the more annoying contestants.

You've got celebrity big brother to look forward to now, well for those who are interested in it anyway.

I really liked Kevin first series (not Susanna tho) ... last year I liked him less (tho conversely liked Frankie) as they were pushing him bigtime and this year I found him (and Kellie) fairly insufferable. The push for him to win too was pretty blatant. Hopefully they'll put him with someone not quite so talented next year. It'd be great to see him with someone who he couldn't give manic routines too (without killing them.)

I did want to see Jo get a partner next year but the last few weeks have made me feel otherwise. I hope Oti and Gio are back.

Sad it's over now. This year has been special.

I find the pros also evolve during their time on Strictly, as Brendan, Anton, Natalie and others have changed in my opinion over time.....

I was going to start another thread, but thought this might be the place to discuss. What are you going to do with the Strictly-sized hole in your viewing schedule this Spring?

The last few years I kind of watched The Voice (at least the beginning bits with the blind audition of the different contestants), but given I actively dislike the two new judges, am not going to invest my time there this year. Guess I will go back to reading, spending time with the family, etc. and give TV a miss.
