Voting figures...

Asking this out of genuine curiosity and without agenda, but will the Beeb publish the weekly voting figures like they do with the X Factor?

I'd love to see how the public voted each week. Especially as the couples are saved "in no particular order"

Nope. They never have and I doubt they ever will.

ITV have to because they got in trouble, I believe, for fudging the numbers with the X Factor at one point. Someone else with a better memory can probably correct me on that.

Also, it's different with normals and celebrities. Celebrities probably have it in their contract that it's not revealed to the public that only 12 people voted for them in a show watched by 11 million.

Why? Something to hide?

They will not and never have given the voting figures, but,I would say
based on the numbers I saw for Dancing on Ice one year,
that unless you're a fan of the good male, they make depressing reading.

The only comment I can remember is for one of the very early finals when only telephone votes were available - it may have been as early as Jill or Darren Gough. They announced that the total number of votes cast was something in the 6 - 7 million region. But in those days most of the call money went to Children in Need so at about 10p a time people were maybe just redialling for the fun of it. You could also cast your vote all week so I am not sure if the figure in the millions was just on finals night or the cumulative votes over 6 days.

think they should be put up at the end of the series when there is no influence since those that have and havent voted are interested to see the brakedown as well as who came 2nd and 3rd my guess would be Kellie 3rd Georgia 2nd
