I know the scores don't mean anything but I had a few issues with the scoring.
Idon't know about the the technique, but Kellie's Tango just didn't seem like a 40 dance. It didn't have that x-factor that a 40-dance should have. Also, it didn't feel quite right that they could do Lindy Hop for their showdances. In my personal opinion it should be based on dances they've learned throughout the process.
For some reason however they chose to ignore Jay and Georgia's brilliance. Their showdances were brilliant and did not deserve to be so far behind Kellie's. It's so unfair to mark Jay's SD down for the reasons they did - he danced it perfectly.
I also wish the judges would stop picking underwhelming dances. They should just pick dances they liked! The first round was a bit underwhelming, as out of the four dances they picked, Katie's was the only one I even remotely wanted to see again.
So yes, I feel Jay and Georgia's scores didn't do them justice. It's a shame that Jay never got a 40 when he is one of the best dancers we've ever had. At least the public served justice in the end

. I'm not sure that he cared about the prize so much as doing the right thing by Aliona tbh. The red button interview gave a bit more background to it.
