There's a training clip of Colin and Erin's rumba for the final of series 2, which has Matt Cutler giving Colin some pointers with Erin. At one point you can hear off camera Colin say 'so you can touch her boob!' and Matt and Erin answer matter of factly - and slightly exapseratedly - 'yes' in unison

That isn't scandalous enough, I'm afraid so don't expect it to be reported it believed. People would rather believe that Aliona's 'poor humiliated husband' is cuckolded and anything else rather than believe the very boring truth.

Not really as from what I have observed and read from Aliona and Jay themselves (rather than "sources" or "insiders") then Aliona and Vincent have a secure relationship and they have welcomed Jay as a friend, as a couple, and that has extended to his family with whom you often see Vincent sat next to during the shows.

Judging by Aliona's character I don't imagine for one minute she would be attracted to a wet blanket and from what I've seen he seems to be a stable and supportive partner who is mature enough to deal with a tactile relationship as part of what is her job (and was when he met her).

If he was so overwrought then I would imagine he wouldn't have much to do with Jay and his family and certainly not driving them to Blackpool as a trio, or spending time down the pub with his family or forming a relationship with Jay as a friend himself.

I've only just read this after posting, but yes this is bang on the nail. So many previous contestants have said about how they started off being very conscious and paranoid about bodies and where to/not touch, and what to/not to wear and by the end they are completely over it.

As a professional dancer and especially if you do dances with lifts then it's inevitably that you are going to touch/get touched in places that you wouldn't when walking down the street (well at least where I live in rural UK anyway) and it's so not a big deal

e.g. Aliona is exceptionally tactile with Tristan as well, has done a piece to camera hugging Aljaz and kissing him on the cheek, and with Anton she had his face in both hands, and with Matt Cutler kissed him on the lips after their samba as well (and there's no way she was having an affair with him!)

Who will care what they are doing this time next week... LOL

The tabloids may if it means an easy article where they can re-compile all the previous sludge and add a new headline to it. Easy journalism (and I use that word lightly) for the junior reporter

I think it's possible he wasn't telling the truth. Sometimes people don't blab all their personal details on television to an interviewer.

From what I've seen (photos, show/ITT video) and read (sharing the same dressing room; that she used to be too touchy-feely with the male pro dancers), I think there's something going on and maybe Vincent doesn't want to do anything about it, at least for the moment, maybe to avoid fanning the negative-publicity flames.

It changes my opinion of Aliona but not so much Jay. She looks like the instigator in all the pictures and video I've seen.

I hope I'm wrong but that's how it looks to me. It's inappropriate the way she holds his face in her hands and kisses him, choreographs his head on her chest, etc. It's too intimate. And brazen!

In his case, he's in a no-win situation. He's probably very attracted to her, they're in a touchy-feely situation, and she doesn't seem to mind; and if he was cold or rejecting to her, it would ruin things and make for a very difficult situation as she might get her feelings hurt and he'd still be infatuated with her - she's gorgeous!! - I can't blame him for not resisting.

He's not a child - this nonsense that poor widdle men can't help themselves is so patronising, sexist and dated.

I am really, really surprised at how desperate some people are for scandal that they are willing to go to such lengths as to using choreography to justify it. I guess the tabloids have to have a market somewhere right enough - they say one thing and somehow it becomes fact. Ok.

I did read the comments on the dailyfail ( almost 1800 comments ....now this is a record because I don't think I've ever seen that many comments on a Strictly story, winner or not) ...interesting comments .

I was just explaining to shrinkingviolet about why I thought the way I did (bit in bold question).

Look, I couldn't care less what's going on - but from very early on, I thought they were acting like lovers, so when the tabs come out with more stuff, I tend to believe it because I had already noticed the suspicious behaviours.

But more than 50% of women cheat on their husbands - who cares? Maybe she has an open marriage. Or maybe she's just playing a game to get publicity and Vincent's in on it. I don't really care but I can't turn off my eyes and brain when I see people behave like that.

surely the cliftons and kellie can't be left out of this 'story'...

It's weird to be walking to the wrap party holding hands with someone else when you're married, and if Vincent is just out of shot as some have suggested, why not hold his hand?! No other couple (e.g. Georgia and Giovanni, Kellie and Kevin) were kissing, cuddling or pawing in the same way. The loving, long, lingering gazes and face cupping after the win is so different to how any other couple has ever reacted upon receipt of the glitterball. The closest I can remember is Kara and Artem and we all know what happened there. Tom Chambers even gushed about his wife before thanking Camilla.

Plenty of married or people in serious relationships have ended up with their strictly partner: Matt and Flavia, Joe and Kristina, Rachel and Pasha. So it isn't outside the realms of possibility that it may happen with Jay and Aliona.

Aliona has said having a family is important to her and she's 31 so she'll probably want to start a family in the next 5 years. Whether she wants to risk that and go with a much younger man who may not want those things soon is hard to tell. Her husband is about 10 years older than her so he's the safe bet I guess. She said in one interview that her husband adores her, but didn't mention adoring him which I found a bit odd.

Jay has pretty much said it was just an act to create a romance for the dances, but the closeness seems to carry on off the dance floor, so he is kinda contradicting himself.

At the end of the day nobody knows but the two of them, what has happened, or how they feel about each other, everyone can say it's either rubbish or not, but they don't actually know one way or the other.

I expect there will be plenty more pictures when the tour starts.
