Dance of the night but Craig seem determined not to give it a 10 and reward it the 40 it deserved, yet gave that horrid tango Kellie and Kevin danced a 10?

Because Kellie has been protected through out the series with over marking. TBH had she been fairly marked she would have left ages ago IMO. Most people I know found her hard to watch.

Maybe because he liked the Tango better.
![]() You could say Craig is refusing to give 10's to the thousands of other dances in Strictly history that he hasn't given 10's to.

I'm not sure how giving a dance a 9 (not his only one of the round) rather than a 10 can translate as him being "determined" to do anything - given his role as a judge and all - but you do you.

it's the same with THAT jive. Bruno was the only one to award it for perfection. It's about time they did away with the ridiculous notion that you don't award a 10 in the early stages. It shouldn't matter what week you're at, if a dance is worthy of a 10, so be it. Also, if the judges insist their marks in the final are for guidance only, how about them ditching scoring at all. It's no wonder the show attracts criticism for favouritism with how those marks panned out on the night. It seemed it was a case of let's give the other two a chance as Jay is ahead with the public vote.

Jay did some things exceedingly well, better than all other male celebs, but hadn't really mastered everything for one dance. I felt before the final that Craig would always deny him a 40.

Well, they did both start smiling half way through - verboten in the paso - so I suppose he could use that as an excuse if push came to shove...........

Who cares, Jay won without any help from the judges and old faceache will just have to live with it.

They were very generous with Kellie though and yet still quite hard on the others. |

Well he didn't give a 10 to Anita's Paso in Blackpool and that was the best this year.

That maybe the case but that doesn't take away the fact Craig clearly just liked it. Also the no drama thing seems to be more down to the music than the fault of Kellie or Kevin.

It simply didn't deserve a ten in Craig's opinion - It's not rocket science.
