Favourite Pro Group Dance of the Series
Now that it has all been said and done and the dust is starting to settle I thought to myself can controversy reign over the pro group dances? Well of course it can no doubt.
But anyway I was wondering what is everyone's favourite pro group dance of the series (if you can remember any - if not YouTube is a great place to find them or the Strictly website) Personally I quite liked the Blackpool number until they crowded the dance floor with everyone. I also liked the Halloween dance and the chess style dance (can't remember what week it was tho!). And I did enjoy the Wild Boys/Girls Just Want to Have Fun dance purely for the amount of bare male chests on show ![]() ![]() ![]() Feel free to expand it to cover other series ![]()

The only one I've rewatched isn't a group dance, but it's Oti and Aljasz dancing to Brandon Flowers.

I honestly can't remember any of the pro dances this series, although I do remember thinking some of them were dreadful.

1. Favourite was the one with Brendan as a boss who both Oti and Karen were in
love with. King years and years https://m.youtube.com/?gl=DE#/watch?v=bFDHAeBVWsM 2. Second favourite was the one with iconic movies they should have used for movie week dammit. Shut up and dance with me. https://m.youtube.com/?gl=DE#/watch?v=Krt7ITMwRPg 3. Third one I guess would be the chess one from halloween https://m.youtube.com/?gl=DE#/watch?v=IoOijSATt0M But would rather have had that costume, board concept with one night in bangkok for musicals week with different choreo. I forgot the moving furniture (shoved by the pros as opposed to pre filmed jamiroquai trickery) dance from the semis. That was awesome, for all the wrong reasons. And still have Tristan's "I play a bouncer, don't know how that happened" in my head.... https://m.youtube.com/?gl=DE#/watch?v=AaoZQ7nJ-88 |

The chess dance was good, and I remember liking the Movie Week ones even though they were a bit cheesy. And the launch show opening number was fairly good once they got into the studio (if you ignore the judges!). I don't remember many of the others, which suggests that at best I didn't think they were great.
Some of the pro routines to guest artists were good though - I loved Kevin & Karen's contemporary number, Aljaz & Janette dancing to Andrea Bocelli and Jo & Anton and Oti & Aljaz's numbers as well. |

Really enjoyed the returning celeb dance in the final.
The chess dance was great. Really loved Karen & Kevin to Adam Lambert Jo & Anton to Josh Groban I'm kinda having brain freeze & can't remember many of the others right now but those ones right off the top of my head. It's been a bit hit & miss this season. |

For the pro dances to the musical guests I really liked Giovanni and Joanne's to Seal.
One thing I did notice from the pro group dances is that Anton is hardly in them in a capacity other than comedy or gimmick. Oh and I forgot one I liked the new pro's introduction dance. |

"Girls just want to have fun."
Watch Karen and Janette's entrance it makes me laugh and the athleticism of Janette's high kick above her head at 1.00. in. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QemZ7_15OpA |

As we're talking pro group dances, rather than dances with just one or two couples dancing to guest artists, then I liked Only Girl in the World best.

I'd not seen that dance (
) Feel free to say your favourite dances to guest artists Only Girl in the World - 360º I'm trying to remember the guest artist dances. I liked Kristina & Gleb dancing to Demons by James Morrison. I liked anything with Jo or Natalie centre stage. |

I would have preferred to see more traditional pro dances (I still watch the old ones on YouTube) but I really enjoyed the pro dances on the the launch show.
