Didn't mind the Clifton clan but so cliquey this year .. I don't really want to see any of them back. They will just keep giving Kevin contenders until he wins.
Aljaz ... beautiful dancer and choreographer... gorgeous person.
Tristan ... really laid back and funny. Would like to see what he's capable of with a dead ringah.
Pasha .. who couldn't love Pasha?
Janette ... lovely girl .. not sure about her choreography but for the sake of Aljaz .. she should be back.
Anton & Brendan .. meh. Kristina also.
Giovanni ... definitely should come back.
Gleb ... hmm .. not sure. Bit too fond of himself and I didn't like any of his specials (most of which turned out to be someone elses.)
Oti ... yes ... would love to see her again.
Natalie ... was always my favourite pro but not sure about her this year. Would like her to be given a contender though before she goes.
Aliona ... I'm gutted she's gone. Always stood out in the group dances for the right reasons.
Iveta ... I'd be happy enough to see her ... she was a bit mad but interesting.

They have done so in the past - Nicole Cutler did series 3, wasn't in series 4 but returned for series 5 before leaving for good.

Surprised that nobody has mentioned the likes of Camilla Dallerup, Flavia, Brian Fortuna et. This was before the Eastern bloc invasion

I don't think Camilla would come back. She's moved on to other things and Brian alas seemed to burn his bridges somewhat with some of the comments he made after leaving as I recall which is a real shame as I actually liked his choreography and loved his dance partnership with Kristina in the pro dances e.g. the Mambo one.

Flavia and Vincent - I wouldn't be surprised to see them appear as a pro special (like there have been with show dance professionals) but from what I read they are doing well enough without SCD and it would be a bit of a step backwards.

Every time Brian Fortuna is mentioned people seem to get a little jittery, like it's forbidden to mention the reason he's left. I for once have no idea why he left/got the boot.

As I recall (and this is completely from memory) he was one of the group (along with Darren, Lilia, Ian and Matt) that got offered the "come back as part of the troupe dancers only" offer. Darren and Ian took the offer up. Lilia and Matt didn't but left quietly, and Brian voiced a couple of negative comments about the Beeb ( I can't recall now if this was at the time or sometime later including post "Dancing on Wheels" and also if it was attributed to him directly or as part of a "a source said" story) but essentially he was already involved in BTF anyway and so left.

Ironically one of the new male pros was Jared Murillo and look what happened there I mean replacing Brian or Matt or Ian or Darren with Jared was a complete brainfart by whoever made that choice!

I do follow what Brian is doing from time to time and he was dabbling with acting last time I looked.

The difference between Ian and the others you name is that Ian was pushed out whereas the others decided to leave.

Rather than wanting these pros back, I find myself missing some of them from time to time and harking back to their time on Strictly and ITT.
Erin, Lilia, Darren, Karen H, Flavia and Vincent are the ones I'd have back if it was practical / possible.

I'd go with those three - I did love Iain.

I rather liked Camilla too.

Ian really was wonderful. And there are a lot tall celebrity women - this series, Carol was too tall for Pasha, for example. Lisa was too tall for him for the Christmas special. Alison/Aljaz, Katie with Anton was even pushing it a bit. When they get a 5'9+ woman, they're basically screwed without him. And he was so likeable with his partners - Jodie and Zoe stand out in my mind, but wasn't he good with everybody? I'll never understand them dropping him

think they do need to look for tall male pros though at least one - I know of two males asked to audition but I think they are not tall enough even though they are great dancers
