Turn left is by some distance the best episode of modern doctor who.

Stolen earth/journey's end were tremendous to follow as well.

I suppose this was the glory days for nu who as well, when the media loved the show as well, unlike now where it's gone back to being a niche show

Midnight for me too. A truly chilling and atmospheric story.

Very easily 'Midnight' for me. 'Love & Monsters' second.

Journeys end.

Watching it now on Watch HD.

Still my all time favourite episode and never fails to break my heart.

I know it will never happen and really shouldn't but Donna is the character I most wish would come back. Even just for a minute to remember she wasn't just Donna Noble, a temp from Chiswick she was in fact (to quote The Doctor) for one shining moment the most important person in the whole wide universe.

An easy vote for me. Turn Left. Not just one of my favourite DW episodes, but one of my favourite dramas on TV period. Brilliantly written and performed, I thought it was beautiful - but in a big way thanks to Catherine Tate and Tennant's raport and build up to that point.

That's not to say I didn't enjoy lots of the others on the list, either, just that I think Turn Left (closely followed by Midnight) has something very special about it which is easy to follow but so very very clever in its execution.

You only have to look at some of the posts in this thread where people are commenting things like their selection of favourite RTD episode is there favourite in all of new who or favourite ever out of any episode, or the post just above yours which says that their selection is not just their favourite doctor who episode but theur favourite piece of tv drama period, to see that you are very much in a minority in your opinion.

If you don't like RTD's work, I don't see why you even bothered posting on the thread at all.
