If all laptops have a built in battery, thought if tabs did as well, all makes would have them also

Is the battery going completely flat?
Do you turn it off completely for long periods of time? Is the time zone and country settings correct? |

I never bother switching mine off, although I do switch off the WIFI to save the battery.

From a quick search it seems this is a problem on the Samsung Tab 3.
Perhaps there is no clock battery to maintain the time, so if the main battery goes "flat" the time is reset to default. Maybe there are apps that can automatically set the clock (over wifi) when the tablet is switched on? |

I would imaging that switching it off is the problem. If it was put into Flight Mode or similar it would use almost no power with just the screen turned off.
