The Inaugural Award of the Giant Magic Teapot goes to...
BuddyBontheNet

DeltaBlue!

As the originator of the Post of the Day Thread idea, it gives me great pleasure to give the very first Award of the Giant Magic to DeltaBlue.

This poster has kept many of us in fits of giggles this series and deserves a Giant Magic Teapot of their very own.

Thank you to all the posters who took the time to post on the POTD thread and to all those clever, witty and generally good fun posters who make us laugh!

Please join me in congratulating DeltaBlue!

Well done DeltaBlue.

Although in the spirit of this forum I would like to suggest that this is a fix and that Buddy must be DeltaBlue's godmother.

I feel under pressure to post something extra witty, but teapots are my kryptonite.

Sincerely, thank you to anyone who quoted me in POTD and thank you to all the other brilliantly funny and often irreverent posters who have made the forum so entertaining over this series.

And a special thank you to Auntie Bud- I mean, this complete stranger who I have never seen before in my life *slides brown envelope under judges' table*

The Tea Pot had previous dance experience and it is well known that it had danced 'I am a little Teapot ' on the Westend . A ringah if ever there was one ,

Well Done Delta Blue and all posters who have humour and a sense of fun

May I suggest this as the trophy and this as the MC's costume during the award ceremony.

Who'da thunk after the Captain Pugwash paso that this would turn out to be the Year of the Teapot!

I think you will find it only sat on the tea tray.

And by a large margin, the Inaugural Milk Jug award must surely go to BuddyBontheNet for initiating the Post Of the Day Thread.

No doubt.
It's either that, or they have embarked on a passionate affair right under our very noses.

Takes a bow and mentions mimi who starts the new thread most years.

Mimi and I have a long history on DS and I swear I don't give preferential treatment to just anyone. As proof, I forgave her for her locking me in a broom cupboard during the live show of I'd Do Anything. DeltaBlue is welcome to come for Christmas dinner any time (especially if she can give her brother a lift over).
