I reckon he might have wound up the "Great British Railway Journeys" with this year's recordings.

There really can't be many more he can cover.

Really enjoyed the majority of the one's he has done, though.

Anyway, the first few trips to be shown in January 2016, can be seen here along with all the previous trips he's done.

Starts Monday 4th January.
don't know if I'm being thick but I can't see a link...........
Sorry, I meant the link in the above post, which I did last year. It's been updated recently. Scroll down and click on the first 2017 episode, London to Edinburgh, and the first 5 of the new series come up.

As last year there will be 3 weeks of UK journeys followed by another week or two of American trips - this time cross country westward via Arizona to California.

Probably the best solution to allow for the inevitable reduction in UK lines left to cover.

We forgot Joanna Lumley. Where does she fit in the pecking order?

Odds and sods?

Week 2 of the UK run announced in Radio Times today. It is treading over ground already covered but with new stories such as major rail infrastructure events that happened there in the past year or two.

Spoiler

(As I'm sure at some point he will have covered them all...)
How's about him doing some bus routes ? Pick your fave and least fave journey he should be covering

Mine; best = 516 Ambleside - Dungeon Ghyll in the Lakes.
Worst = (amongst many) 36 Bolton - Manchester
That would suit him to the ground, his Spanish side of the family have a bus company on the Costa del Sol - Portillo
