Yes, it killed the Kaspersky add-ons again, they are not signed apparently.

# Fixed
- Various stability and security fixes
# Changed
- Use a SHA-256 signing certificate for Windows builds, to meet new signing requirement
this is what this update was for.

Update 43.0.1 shagged my computer! After updating, there is some kind of conflict between the browser program and something called NVIDIA Network Access manager, causing Firefox 43.0.1 to constantly crash. Strange that the previously Firefox brower worked perfectly.

The NAM program although on the add/delete programs list within the control panel will not uninstall (as i have been advised to do) and there seems no way around this.

As a final resort, i am trying to find the registry values of this (for want of a better word) 'firewall' - which essentially what it is, but i'm not having much luck. I figure that if i delete the registry values of this program, then maybe, i can uninstall it from the add/delete programs facility in the control panel, which at this time, i am currently unable to do.

Anyone out there having similar issues? I'm still running Windows XP x64PRO as some of the programs on my computer won't run on anything newer.

It's not as if Kaspersky haven't had months to fix this issue for their extension to work in Firefox. They were warned about this scenario a while ago. Apparently, the coming 2016 release of Kaspersky will have a signed extension that'll work fine. Until then...

I'm surprised anyone still uses Firefox. It's shocking how bad and bloated it now is.

Safari all the way for me these days.

Nothing wrong with FF on my laptop.
It starts up in 8 seconds.
Pages render almost instantly.

I'll use this latest release and see if it's as stable and 'light' as Chrome. I stopped using Firefox a while ago because of it freezing/crashing when on Flash intensive pages.

v44.0 has crashed at least four times since I installed it this afternoon. Is anyone else having the same problem?

Does firefox not check for updates automatically?

It is the only browser where people always seem to post that there are updates?

Firefox users care about Firefox.

Was only joking really.

Of course, many turn off auto updates. I do for sure.

Still it has always amused me it is only Firefox Users that do this though, never any other browser. Obviously a close knit community!

All browsers of note have updates. Chrome has many updates, but keeps them in the background and hidden from view. I'd rather the browser keep up with security issues and the like, informing me that it's done so, than pretend that everything is hunky-dory through ignorance. Anyway, Firefox itself does updates in the background, so I don't really see what the complaint is. Mind you, I presume that it doesn't really impact on you, in that I think I've read in the past that you've stopped using Firefox. Still, complain away if you must...
