Well 2016's over and done with, yet another year down the pan.
What a year for weather its been. As always we've had a diverse and wide range of weathers across the country this year. Each day we've usually had a very diverse difference in weather type, temperature and precipitation levels across the country. For a small country like ours that is amazing.
We've had an absense this year of any extreme cold weather, but of course we've still had quite a few frosts and short but sweet outbreaks of snow last January and February.
The summer overall here in north west england wasn't the best, it was perhaps mediocre at best and diabolical at worst. Plenty of chilly overcast wet days, with temps no higher than low-mid teens. Despite this however, it hasn't all been doom and gloom, we have had some nice pleasant days with some nice sunshine or sunny intervals and temperatures not too high in the hi teens or lo 20',s. Like any summer weather in the UK though, humidity can be a problem, makingbit feel uncomfortably warmer than it is and causing us to sweat profusely unless one is in anything more than t-shirt and shorts but overall its not been too bad overall this year.
I will add more to this speech in the coming days. Tiredness has overcome me.
I would also like to let you know that I've been observing at recording the weather here at my location since the 15th September 2016, and I'll be happy to share the results once I calculate all the averages and statistics etc over the coming days. Then you'll all be able to see what kind of weather I get in my location and why sometimes I moan about it perhaps a little more than I should.

Oh, and uh, belated Happy New Year to everyone
