How about a version where a postman with a headcam does his rounds in a city, or country town or village?

Could always do one with a camera watching paint dry for 2 hours

This isn't as good as the narrowboat one as there isn't the variety of things to see, it's just snow and trees.

Yes I seem to remember in the early 80's whenever a programme broke down or the BBC had a few minutes to kill before the next show the train journey video was put on.

Don't think this is as good as the canal journey.

Is that a camera drone being used?

I forgot this was on until I saw this thread so I've just switched on. I didn't realise there were going to be on-screen facts. That's a bit much for Christmas Eve.

Are the cameras controlled by drone operators from a bunker in Montana?

They should get out and pull the reindeer in the sleigh for a bit, let them have a break

You'dhave to have the option to scrap today's footage and wait for a day when you CAN be bothered to finish your round.

Truckers' stop?

I'll record it and watch it at 12x speed so it's like the London to Brighton film.

In a way it's like Ice Road Truckers but with the bu*****t turned off.

I'll never complain about F1 being slow again.

Maybe the American edit will have more antler to antler action?

And yes the graphics are not on screen long enough and care too light.

It's better than Abbas best bits though.😊

Isn't this the bit BBC4 use for the start of programmes?

Time for another p*ss stop and warm up daylight going now.

Lovely, what I like about these slow programmes is the ambient sound and vision of the experience. Mind you given that the tents are semi permanent they really should have solid fuel stoves. All the heat and none of the smoke.
