I thought this weeks episode might be a bit less dire, with Miranda Richardson in it...... But i was wrong, if anything it was even worse than previous efforts.
Totally unfunny sketches, depressingly drawn out far too long.
I had a similar hope and was similarly disappointed with the worst (IMO) of a mediocre bunch. Having said that I have laughed a few times over the course of the series so far. The one with Meera Syal was probably the best (least bad ?)

Why is everyone saying it's not funny???

I thought the plastic bag and the estate sketch were really good, and so was the micky take on those compensation ads we all see and hear (on the radio) too much these days.

That sketch was quite funny but it was very similar to something that The Two Ronnies would do. They were very good at word play sketches where one of them was saying or thinking one thing and the other would say a word that would fit into that sentence even though it was said out of context.

I also liked the 5p rip-off carrier bag sketch but I do agree in general that sketches do go on just that bit too long.

Best one was with Hugh Bonneville. He's more versatile than he often gets to show.
