Oh dear. Had high hopes for this but it's awful.
He's giving a career resurgence to a few celebrities.

I like it, it's pretty good. Far better than the prior two comedies of the evening.

Wish they would make Celebrity Slammer. Love the classical football chants.

Liked the football chants. Rest dreadful. The Sherlock stuff in particular was just horribly, toe-curlingly obvious.

The first sketch was just repetive and completely unfunny. The Sherlock sketch was as Zac described, toe-curlingly bad.

This might be a clue who the best writer was from his former comedy partnership.

To be honest though, I did laugh at a few bits.

I didn't think Big School was too bad but yes this particular show has very much made it look like Matt Lucas used to carry him. Although having the equally aloof and childish Jack Whitehall on the first episode won't have helped matters. Harry Enfield next week might be better, although I doubt I'll bother finding out.

Didn't mind the first one but tonight's was mostly dreadful. Everything went on too long just hammering home how unfunny it all was.

Best sketch was the married couple and that was hardly original.

Indeed. It could have been anything from the Two Ronnies onward.

I think Jack was playing himself in the first sketch.

Whitehall's Dad was more entertaining on Celebrity Antiques Road Trip!

Mocking the speech patterns of anyone who isn't a middle-class university graduate from the South East was just about funny when Catherine Tate used to do it exceptionally well, but it certainly isn't now. They wonder why the working class have an issue with feeling alienated from the 'establishment'.

!!! The outdated idea one way of speaking is 'proper' and another way isn't is precisely the problem

Truly awful. I don't know what has happened between Lucas and Walliams but this is just sad. Please BBC bring back a quality sketch show duo! Mitchell & Webb! Harry Enfield and Paul Whitehouse! (yes I did see Harry's name on the credits but we can't blame him for this!) Vic and Bob! Surely the fact that people were saying the only highlight was The Chuckle Brothers should say it all. What people want are a double act with chemistry! All the Chuckle Brothers ever say is 'to me, to you.' for god's sake! But it works because we buy into their friendship. Surely all this show does is make people wonder what happened between him and Matt. Bizarre.
