Gettin fed up of announcers spoiling soaps as they come on and the BBC are possibly the worst offenders. tonight i settled down to watch Eastenders, I had no idea Stacey was giving birth in this actual episode despite seeing supposedly her waters break in the previous episode. I had assumed it might have been rolled over to Christmas Day's episode. However that was spoiled Tonight when the the announcer said Martin wouldn't be much help...

its unappreciated and i wish the BBC would stop them doing it, its not the first time it's happened either.

'Martin wouldn't be much help' could mean so many things, other than to do with Stacey's elongated pregnancy. I'm not sure what else the announcer said to make you think it was as you say a "spoiler'.

Pretty sure her waters breaking the night before was a giveaway.

What was worse was when Kellie Bright was on Strictly and during a training video they showed her filming her wedding scenes and showed Alfie back! 😡 I knew Linda was getting married but obviously didn't want to see where, her dress and things like that but had no idea Alfie was returning so was quite annoyed about that. Stupid bbc.

Striictly have been doing that for years.

Both Tom Chambers and Patsy Kensit had their last days filming (indeed their last scenes) on Holby City filmed and shown on their traning bits, months before they went on screen in the Soap so it will have spoilt it for many.

That's not really a spoiler had the announcer said "Stacey's given birth. Is it Jack's?!" then that would have been a spoiler

And he's done it again tonight,

If you think Dean looked desperate wait til you see him Monday night,

whilst not totally a spoiler he's now told us that something worse is going to happen to Dean in Mondays's episode.

What happened to just don't forget you can join the residents of Albert Square on Monday when one of the residents will be in some pony.

I usually try and mute the tv between programmes now - the BBC are the worst culprits - you get told whats coming up as one programme ends then as the next one starts you get more info on whats going to happen - I don't always want to know so the mute button is my friend when the remotes in reach

I don't really see the problem - I usually find it quite funny and it sometimes (like the Monday night Dean line) gets us talking about what's coming up. It's never spoilers so I just don't really see what the problem is, I guess.
