hi just brought my son a laptop,do i have to register with bt?at the moment i cant pick up windows,it is intel processor,how do i get windows?it is 8.1

I don't get what you mean by you can't pick up Windows. If it's a new laptop Windows should already be installed, all you have to do is complete the set up procedure. It will probably be Windows 8 but could be Windows 10, if it is 8 though, and it's a brand new laptop you should be able to install Windows 10 for free. If you're not sure how to set it up try the place you bought it from, or maybe somebody you know can help. A new laptop is pretty straightforward to set up.

Maybe you mean connect to your household WiFi ??
