How Amazing Is Legendess Dame Shirley Bassey -She Has Still Got It All Absolutely Fabulous.

Dressed as a sparkly snowball with a voice as powerful as ever and accompanied by the Amazing Anton, it just doesn't get much better than that.

Thank you from us all Shirley for gracing us with your presence and amazing
talent.

Merry Christmas xxx

Absolutely! I was prepared to be disappointed, but she wiped the floor with most of the acts they normally have on.

Genuinely happy to agree with you for once Terry, Shirley is just amazing, and a genuine STAR!!

I feel that we have grown up together as we were both born the same year. I have seen her in concert many times, and yes you are right, without doubt her voice is as powerful as ever.

In 1964 I was fortunate enough too see Shirley and Judy Garland on stage together at The London Palladium, in a Midnight Charity Show. Judy has been gone for 46 years, but Shirley just goes on, her voice still as strong, and incredibly she is 79 years old next month.

I inwardly groaned when I saw her appearing.

She was fab-u-lous.
That's how to do it Dame Shirley.

Can't agree that she was "fabulous," she was too "shouty."

She was also off-key a couple of times, but not on the "big notes."
For her age, her voice is still quite good, but nothing like it was once. She's not alone, many singers of a similar age are the same.
Nostalgia tends to affect the perception of some.

"Legendess?"

Is that the feminine form of Legender?

Gotta love her. Now she has the range.
Happy Christmas Terry, all the best for 2016.

I do wonder why they have never done a Bond theme week. They have had permission granted for so many themes, except my favourite, diamonds are forever.

Thank you DiamondDoll, very nice of you to say.

I can't sing, but I could possible out run Dame Shirley, having completed two London Marathons over the past three years.
