Gavin said that he was staying with a friend. What if this friend was Henry Hubbard (Vincent's dad) and Henry came to the Square to surprise his family for Christmas (or maybe he is still in contact with Claudette and was going to meet her).

When Ronnie gave the men a description of who to put in the boot, they might've thought that Henry was Vincent when they saw him. That could explain why Vincent is so shocked at who is in the boot in the preview.

I know that this theory is far fetched and won't happen but I found it interesting.

Exactly. A tall muscular black guy in his thirties is not easy to mistake even in a dark alleyway.

Stupid.”

Exactly. There are so many things that have to be overlooked and contortioned in order to create many of these fanciful twisty - turny storylines.

I am thinking Goosey - Loosey. Strange that she has gone missing.

Claudette won't die. They literally just started the storyline about her husband being alive. There's no way they would kill her now.

It could be Christine. We haven't seen Christine for some time.

For the viewer, Fatboy has left. There were no scenes afterwards implying that he was staying behind - he left.

The trailer makes it obvious that the car is not crushed, and that whoever is in the boot is still alive when Vincent opens it. So it would be odd if Vincent then kills that person.

Therefore we can deduce that the Christmas death is not the person in the boot (so it could therefore be Claudette)

They could have suffocated in the boot - they would have been in there a whole day - this isn't a broom cupboard and the person was also gagged.

I think Vincent put fatboy in the boot after who after originally releasing Vincent then turn on fatboy to make believe Ronnie he was still in the boot, intending to release him later,

The trailer (referenced above) would indicate otherwise.

This may sound crazy but any chance its Charlie?

Might possibly the worst Christmas story we've seen...

Maybe Vincent's reaction is deliberately exaggerated and there is no one in the boot when he looks inside?

I think it's Fatboy.

This tweet the BBC Eastenders Twitter just posted makes me think it's not Claudette, if it were why would there be doubt over if he would tell (and would probably proceed to kill her on the spot) Ronnie?

Maybe they are gonna do what they did last year and have Denny 'Die' then be in a Coma ala Ronnie? And the boot person being a Red Herring

I don't think that it's far fetched at all, I had the same idea when I saw the trailer. I was telling me sister that I don't think that Vincent would have a reaction to like that if it was Fatboy locked in the boot. But then again...this is Richard Blackwood that we're talking about

He could have put him in the boot to make him suffer, with his fear of confined spaces. Then Ronnie crushes the car. I think Vincent would be upset an innocent person he sort of liked was killed.

From the trailer, the car does not get crushed though (even if the roof and A/B pillars have been mangled by the grabber, the boot is fully intact).

I'm wondering if it's Charlie also. Surely he'd return to see Matthew and Dot for Christmas?

Dot mentioned him last night, saying she it wasn't fair he wasn't there, Ronnie said she'd send him some pictures, and Dot said not to rub his face in it. Or something to that effect.

This is what I'm thinking - they're not seriously going to try and say that they mistook Fats for Vincent are they?

I remember some type of conversation like that. I really can't see Charlie letting Ronnie have her way if he wants to see them, he loves Dot and Matthew. I know EE wrote out the charecter, but wouldn't surprise me if they brought him back to kill him off. In the trailer we see Dot crying, and I thought that was because she'll have no one around her for Xmas, but now she has Jack back. So it's someone close to her- possibly.

I think it will be Fatboy because when Stacey decided to name her baby Arthur then it is more likely they will get rid of the Fatboy as his real name is Arthur as it would confusing for Dot

Maybe there's a twist that Vincent has secret twin he doesn't know about..

maybe it will be Pa hubbard. Claudette knew Ronnie was up to something and saw the opportunity to ditch Henry before he can tell his side of the story.

Maybe another old face might be coming back to Eastenders
