I was wrong then. I can't believe they killed Arthur off in such a grisly way, after essentially being a really nice character as well.
I think his death was the least interesting to me in terms of story possibilities, and the most obvious in terms of cast departures we'd already heard about. Having said that, they managed to keep us guessing until tonight's episode. I just don't know if it was worth all the fuss in the end.
A quiet exit on to a better life would have been more fitting for him.
